Depends on the average MMR of the games he won/lost, also adjusted for his current MMR when he started. If his MMR wasn't quite Silver 5 I can understand but that's still a rather big drop

On another note my bro went 9-1 as AP Nid and jumped from Plat 5 to Plat 2, I have yet to do mine because physics

thats true, i forgot about that possibility. you can't get demoted past silver 5, no matter how low ur MMR goes... anywho, i gotta get back up to diamond. only acc i have left tho is a level 26 on LAN, and i play on my bro's acc sometimes lol.

Someone who was Bronze V; got carried up to silver V in duo with a gold's help. Then did their placements for pre season and got bronze again. (Unless you mean dropping divisions in a single season)

-I'm scared to do my provisionals. Last season I went 7-3 because 2 games we had a dc and 3 games we fought people who had dc's (Does league still have random afk/drops in ranked? It happens on my team at least once in 4 games I swear).

I played six series games the last week of preseason and both series were decided by DCs
Someone was afk in 5/6 games, four of those being to my disadvantage.
So it definitely still happens.

Cool; I figured since it happens in normal Q too. When will riot make better NA servers (Hawaii is even worse).

You should be able to do it again, it should only take ~30 wins (15 straight) to get into Diamond from where you are at.

I have some insane luck in ranked, my win/lose for the end of last season was 18 out of my last 20 ranked games were wins lmao

Hey all, Silver 3 adc main (mid/support/jung secondary) LF 5s team. I main Jinx, sivir, twitch, kat, diana, malz, annie, lulu, nami

I used to play with golds and plats and occasionally play tournaments on victorious gaming for RP and have won the victorious ryze skin (granted that's not a big achievement lately).

got placed a division lower than where I was all of last season despite a 3-1 kdr for my wins and a positive kdr for losses during promos, as well as a 1v5 penta on jinx so that coupled with irl crap leaves me with no motivation to play solo queue anymore, though I will consider playing with good support/jung main.
