Best Multiplayer Games????

Okay, here's the thing: Lacking online multiplayer does not suck. Anyone who has played a game with 3 other friends in the same room or been to a LAN knows this. It is totally fun, and completely pwns Online.

Yes, lacking online multiplayer, DOES suck. Its a hell of a lot funner online then in a room with people you know. I would rather play Unreal Tournament 2004 with around 25 people online then in a room with some friends of mine.

Then you're a special case. It's so much more fun talking about the match during and afterwards to people you know. Typing to people you don't know is challenging while trying to stay alive. I'd much rather play LAN or console in the same house than I would online multiplayer. I actually would choose 1-player mode over the online mode. Particularly because you'll join a server with like 5 complete idiots, 7 experts, and 10 people who don't know how to type right or play the game right.

Exactly. LAN is great for talking trash and doing victory dances infront of everyone when you win.
