Hardest Boss Battle(s)

Of all the games you played, what was the hardest boss battle to you? It's fine to list more than 1, since there is such a wide variety of battle styles. I'm listing 1 from each series I've played since it's too hard to pick just 1.

Mario Series
Cackletta's Soul from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - I usually think Mario boss battles are generally not too difficult but this one...

Metroid Series
Emperor Ing from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - It's mainly hard since you lose a ridiculous amount of health even from a little scratch and even having all the energy tanks doesn't help me much.

Donkey Kong Series
Baron K.Roolenstien from Donkey Kong Country 3 - I don't find boss battles in the Donkey Kong series to be hard but this is the one I think is the hardest but it's not too difficult still.

Zelda Series
Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time - Not Ganon but Ganondorf...

Resident Evil Series
Javier from Darkside Chronicles - 'nuff said.

Super Smash Bros. Melee
Event #51 - The Showdown... it's not really a boss battle, but I consider it to be one since Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo are in it. I smashed my controller many times from losing this battle so many times and it's even worse for me now since I'm so used to Brawl and haven't played Melee in years.

Abyssion's moves kind of cycle in a pattern. Nothing that stupid team mates can do, but its not so bad when your 1 V 1ing him especially if you manage to poison him.

I would have to say the Tyrant from Resident Evil Outbreak 1 and elizabeth from persona 3

For me personally, Sephiroth's first form. I didn't know you had to beat him with both teams, and spent the entire game only training 3 people.
So when the final boss rolled around it took me 5 hours to take him down.

And I guess Ultimecia was probably second, I was so underleveled when I reached her; I had to destroy my prized triple triad cards just to beat her. Felt bad man.

I remember there being a ton of difficult bosses in FFIII, but none I can recall at the moment.

Yeah.. I don't play hard games, only grindy ones.

I dont play many games, but Septhiroth in KH1 took forever for me to be able to beat.

Also, I'm going to put the entire last stage of Megaman 8 because you have to beat fucking like 10 bosses in a row without dying or you go back to the beginning.
I never actually beat that game

God damn Saturos and Menardi when they fused into the dragon at the end of Golden Sun.
Think I broke a GBA because of this fight.

The third fight with Barthandelus from FF XIII-2.

I'm not going to bring schmups or MMO's into the discussion 'cause that'd be too easy, but you'll find the toughest bosses in those genres.

My vote goes to Death, or perhaps any set of stairs with enemies around them, in the first Castlevania. The final boss in Street Fighter 2010 is really ridiculous as welll.
