I've been meaning to play more, but new WoW content came out and god damn Blizzard has me fucking hooked.

I sold that Deadman's for like $60, just turned it around and threw it back into gear. Before I upgraded my dps was around 66k, it's since jumped up to 129k and peaking around 180k at my last look. Breath of Heaven with Blazing Wrath gives me 15% increased damage for 45 seconds, always used when up. Then Mantra of Conviction with Overawe makes enemies suffer 12% additional damage from ANY damage source around me while Overawe doubles it to 24%

Kinda cheated a little bit with the "two sets of two" dex/crit gear. The Nat's and Inna's together are just too fucking strong right now. +130 dex and 7% crit from them together lol yep
Sweeping Wind does constant 60% weapon damage while creating lighting tornadoes when I crit that arc out and shock bad dudes. Being a monk is pretty awesome.
Though I have a buddy whos barb is nowhere near as geared as my monk but can tear through A3/4 on MP6+ Fucking Life on Hit dual wielding barbs.

Life on hit is pretty awesome. I heal 1457 per hit attacking 2.45/sec. Even mp10 diablo can't kill me without shadow clones, but my dps sucks. You still need crit to function.

Two legendary items have dropped for me in D3. They were both useless and sold for under 10k. And you're probably right. I guess I'm not bored of the game to the point where I would rather run the same thing over and over again than just play through stuff. I've been running Act I MP1. I'm not having any problems, but it's clear that my dps isn't going to cut it once I get to like Act IV MP3 or something.

I'm slowly climbing up in dps. I put away my shield and completed the Bul-Kathos set for duel-wielding nonsense and got a tribal binding belt. Also picked up more attack speed with rings. My damage peaks at 42k with 5 stacks of frenzy, or 50k with a frenzied buff. My base attack speed is 2.09 lol. I'm looking for an eternal reign coat, vile ward, mempo, duncraig cross, and jousting mail. Long way to go just for "end-game gear" that I'll just replace with crit stuff later =/.

If you're running act 1, try to get the mp up to at least 2, and go for key runs. If you don't know much about them, google the infernal machine, but probably the main thing to do outside of act 3 is to accumulate keys so you can fight uber bosses and eventually roll a hellfire ring.

Also, if you haven't already, get the plans for the new archon gear and try crafting gloves/amulets especially, since you need damage. They're expensive, but if you get a good roll, they can be the best in socket item for pretty much any class right now.

Experts on here: any ideas for gear upgrades with a modest budget? I'm not interested in upgrading gems right now. The DPS increase is modest and I can do it later.

I feel like almost anything I can upgrade other than getting all resist on my chest is way too expensive relative to my budget and I should probably wait awhile, but if you have any ideas let me know. I might try crafting gloves here and there though and hope for a trifecta.

Your resistance seems fine, but armor needs to be higher.. (I'm not a wiz expert)
Get a chest with 120+vit and and a life% affix
and then get a double crit weapon (with 60%+ crit dmg) that does 1000 ish dmg. You rely too much on your weapon for vit so it makes it difficult to upgrade
Not sure how you handle reflect dmg mobs without life on hit or life steal.. Since your dps is high, seek life steal on your weapon
Get a tal rasha amulet with crit chance or if that's too expensive, craft a double crit amulet. Gloves seem fine for now.

btw leonid he heals from Blood Magic's 1.5% lifesteal. Getting some more on the weap wouldn't hurt though.
I honestly think weap is the weakest thing you have but you lose sooo much vit replacing it and all your other stuff is hard to make up vit on...

Yeah, I can upgrade DPS substantially for 5-10 million by changing my weapon, but I'm really skeptical of doing this right now because my health is going to drop by over 10k. Need to replace vit in some other places first I think. Being paragon 100 would help; that would be 140 vitality right there but right now that's a really really long ways away lmao

Crit tal rasha's is way too much right now (50+ million for one with solid other stats), but AS tal rasha's is actually reasonable. Might consider getting one.

As for life steal, yeah, I handle reflect mobs pretty well with just 1.5%, at least on Mp4. On mp5/6 I basically die so I have to wait until the reflect affix wears off to hit them (so if they're jailer or vortex I'm fucked really bad).

PS I've been playing HC lately... haven't died yet lol I'm currently at "Kill Ghom" quest in Inferno.

The challenge is that I will not use auction house to get my gear.. so I'm only allowed to use self-found gears
(Explains why my gears suck here)
