In this thread, post things that some video games do that annoy you.
Mine:
RPGs which don't display any health meter or HP number whatsoever on enemies nor any indicator or means so you have no idea relatively how "well" you are doing or even if you're wasting your time attacking an invincible foe. It's particularly bad in long, drawn-out battles.
Rapid-click based games, where how well you do isn't determined so much by skill as it is how fast you can click your mouse button.
Money-based games, where how well you do isn't determined so much by skill as how much money you've put into it. (The "best" player will be the one that put the most money into it, not the most skilled)
Grind-based games, where in order to practically get anywhere you have to grind for long amounts of time. A little bit is okay but if 90% of the game is grinding, no.
Adventure games with unintelligent requirements. Basically adventure game genre is supposed to follow logical thinking but sometimes they are instead just arbitrary. Closely related is the dreaded pixel hunt. Also closely related is failure to accept synonyms or other equivalent meaning text in text-based games.
Games which require you to purchase/own some other game in order to fully complete that first game. Closely related is games which require DLC in order to fully complete them.
Games which force tutorials on you.
Games which don't let you skip text, cutscenes, etc...
Games which are ruled more by luck than by skill.
"Defend the castle" type games.
Catapult type games.
Unacceptable lag in games.
Real Time Strategy (RTS) games -- just can't stand that entire genre.
Food server type games and similar (click on ingredients, make food, give to correct customers, etc...)

It's a video game annoyance right? Annoying characters I'd call it.
