And, yea... just about every recent game where someone has led an alliance, they were like "wow... this is crazy hard. I don't want to run an alliance again."
Being host was crazy hard. I don't want to run a TWG again. Not in the near future, at least. Once I get a stroke of brilliance again....

Everyone who has posted said they greatly enjoyed this game. Myself included. I have a feeling this game will be played again soon. And it seemed pretty frickin' balanced.

what
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
Your original proposed removal of the seer wouldn't have been enough to counterbalance a global psychic, which is why I spoke up.
Remove the guardian, however, and I think you've got something.
A blueless game?
Now, why does that sound familiar?
PS I did not like this game. The PMs threw **** off, humans got lucky 3 times over (first in the lucky lynch of chardish, then in the fact that the prosecutor PM actually was legit and that the prosecutor fed the names of wolves), prosecutor ended up not even making things interesting (unless you count the wolves being forcefed to the humans interesting...). Yeah, I probably would have been lynched for some reason (or, more likely, lynched for no reason) and fish was under heat from iggy too. Despite all that though, I would have rather lost by being beaten normally than having our names fed by, in essence, a second seer.
PPS I like blah's resurrection game. That's what everyone's talking about right?
PPPS These are not true postscripts, because I didn't add them after having completed this post.
PPPPS Chardish's immunity thing should be interesting, even though I'm not a huge fan of user affected random-ness. I'd rather just have the host say it than having the user have a [useless] effect on if they get it or not.
Afro... blah was telling Iggy all day 2 to ignore Guido's PM about lynching you. He said that it should wait until at least day 3, to lynch someone else, let things develop more before acting on it.
ALSO... Iggy seered Fish night 2 and STILL thought he was non-human at the start of day 2 and never waivered. He thought Fish was a witness, but he still was pretty solid in wanting him lynched based on his conversations and the logic behind Fish's reasonings for doing things.
So, please stop bitching that it was all dumb blind luck. Iggy played an excellent game, no matter what anyone else wants to say. Yes, he got help from Guido's PM... but he still had to trust that it was real vs the other ones, and had to go against standard procedure in Fish being seered human.

amanda tripped (10:48:16 PM): If I ever read a TWG postgame where Afro does not whine about how his lynching was totally unfair and lame, I will probably die.

My lynching was fine, really. I just don't appreciate giving all this credit to iggy. He did nearly nothing. Humans won so readily because of luck combined with guido's aid.
Go re-read my post. I'm sure I know/understand more about why Iggy did what he did than anyone else (maybe Blah knows as much, but he certainly wasn't impartial). Yes, some luck. But don't downplay the skill side of it.
I've had luck in many of the alliances I've had the pleasure of running. Things like way back in TWG2... never would have had an alliance AND would have lynched the seer had Jurs not IMed me telling me who she was. TWG26 never would have worked so brilliantly had Mead not contacted me alone on Night 1. Etc, etc, etc. There is luck involved in EVERY single game.
Most of the time, a team will win by "pure luck" in getting the kill or lynch they needed. Members of the other team will think it unfair (Afro), but, this is how the game works, so it's going to happen.
Afro, you ARE whining. I was going to post it earlier, but figured what I was going to say was too harsh. STOP IT. Nobody cares if you think your lynching was unfair. While we'll accept your initial comment, nobody really wants to hear it reiterated with some sort of justification. We know you're going to say it anyway.

The thing is, in everyone's mind, they played a perfect game (unless it was obvious to the random passer-by that they screwed up). The truly unfair lynches are really few and far between. But to the myopic view of the individual player, they did nothing wrong and did nothing to deserve getting lynched.
Self-destruction aside, everyone is upset when they get lynched. It's just a question of how they deal with it, really.

Are people even hearing what I'm saying? My lynch was fine. In my mind, it was tandamount to being seer'd.
The problem I have is that people are giving so much credit when the win just fell into the laps of the humans.
Point #1: Chardish was called out by Kefit and bandwagoned with little reason. Wolves are never lynched day 1. Getting a wolf day 1 denotes luck.
Point #2: Guido mass PM'd and identified me as a wolf.
Point #3: Guido told iggy that Fish was indeed a wolf.
The only thing I can see that iggy did do right completely on his own is seer fish, then stay on his case even when Fish's seering came back human. However, in a game with a MW, this is how all seers should act.
I don't care what you guys say about Chardish being dumb luck. Even if I hadn't known Chardish was a wolf, his initial post seemed so poorly thought out and just really out of character for him. He's Chardish. He doesn't make bad posts. Yes, he went back on it, but it was a very "bad guy" think to say.
