Re: TWG 30 Postgame - HUMAN VICTORY!

Iggy just reminded me a lot of Tass in this game, and I KNOW most of the players in this game don't put up with that bull**** from Tass.

PS: Last time Tass was wolfed night 1 he was the seer (last time I paid attention, that is).

Dude, my internet was dead from saturdayish until midweek. The first time i had checked the thread was when you posted afro or something like that as a vote on yourself. That and the fact that i never saw you on aim... but that was probably my bad.

talk to fish... he was in the alliance day two and never made any headway. If the alliance leader is in any way smart he'll never tell members who's in it in a game with a master wolf.

disagree completely. the crazier the better, for me at least. the more to think about the more fun I have.

I'm all for blah's game next, in the future though, I have a suggestion:

bring back cardflipping in some kind of balanced form.

Cardflipping helps activity incredibly, as people can work backwards from lynchings and whatnot, and makes wolves have to plan their votes and accusations carefully. Only issue is balance. Get rid of the seer? Might do it.

Panda... the ONLY other time I was successfully attacked night 1 was when I was the seer. I was attacked night 1 on successive games. Saved once, dead once. This was the 3rd time I was attacked night 1.

And, he was a little bit like me, although I try to allow for group discussion early in the game before taking over more late in the game. Iggy took over from the first moment. Also, apparently people do still put up with my nonsense... look at twg27. I ran that alliance flawlessly, apart from the fact that it took the max amount of days to win (although under my plan, winning was inevitable). Not easy to come out day 1 when you're the seer in a game with no guardian, and never get wolfed.
          RIP

What if you're the seer, you decide to come out and start the Alliance, but you DONT have a brilliant plan or aren't very bright?

Because I don't think I'd be able to compose something on my own if I ran an alliance.

Be a minion. Tass runs alliances as a human all the time.

And I what I said about you being wolfed and being the seer didn't mean anything, except that someone said you could possibly have been the seer and leaked, leading to your wolfing. People don't go for Tass because he could be special. They go for him because he plays like a crazy person, and they don't want to be against him. Sometimes they get lucky and he's not guarded, and sometimes they get stupid-lucky and he's special.

                Stupid-lucky. Nice.

And, yea... just about every recent game where someone has led an alliance, they were like "wow... this is crazy hard. I don't want to run an alliance again."

It makes me smile that much more.

So even though the wolves have won once in the last decade, you want to bring back something that forces them to work even harder? That doesn't make any sense.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

damn dude I said it would have to be balanced. And you'll remember the last time we played it the wolves very nearly did win, despite being at a disadvantage.

                        Still, I think:

                        16 players
                        3 wolves
                        1 guardian
                        12 humans

                        or even

                        16 players
                        3 wolves
                        13 humans

                        with cardflipping would work.

                            That was me XD.

But yea, I would rather play a game that has lots of activity. I was trying to get a game type started where people that are lynched can still vote, but balancing it is hard. (Mostly because I don't know how to make it so.)

Obviously any game with a seer is bad news for the wolves.

I think it was blah's game that had the wolves able to "frame" people. I love that idea as it basically ruins the seer's powers and makes nothing certain.

EDIT: I did remember thinking chardish's game was a sweet idea also. Too lazy to check it all but I like the idea of being immune to a lynch (or wolfing) in any senario.

Your original proposed removal of the seer wouldn't have been enough to counterbalance a global psychic, which is why I spoke up.

Remove the guardian, however, and I think you've got something.

I really want to host, but think I should wait one more game, to get finals out of the way. I also don't have any ideas for games...
