I think the pm is real at this point. I remember the last time TPS tried to fake a pm. That didn't turn out too well for him. He might have gotten better, but I really can't see what he would gain from faking this as a wolf.

I've come to think that while the PM may refer to certain players, it doesn't really help anyone. I mean omega posted those six senarios and really no one gains from this PM.

If it did mean something, then it would have to mean something to one person (possibly more) and they would know what it means and have probably already acted on it.

There's plenty of reason to why ap would do that
        it distracts everyone
it makes sure that everyone knows that he knew that he might be wolfed

Yes because ap would want to distract everyone...

fish, meh, maybe. It's possible that you would. I'm way more suspicious of blah/iggy at this point.

the pm does seem ap-ish. Why only tps I have no clue.

Re: TWG XXVIII: Card Sharks (or Wolves, rather)

Alright, I've decided that I'm pretty suspicious of Omeganitros right now.

His first post, on page 3 (40pc) confirms all that he has not been paying close attention to the game and therefore would have being a likely candidate for not sending in the kill. His sparse posting is also strategically good for keeping the heat off of him. It's the behavior that won him manhunt and is the best way for Omega to win as a wolf. His lack of AIMing also upsets me, and adds to my suspicion.

Second post. Sums up what Kilga said, and then asks (not answers) a question. I don't like it one bit. Also he opens up the suspect list to include more people than him; smooth going.

Third post. Again bringing up information, but doing nothing with it besides a passive agreesive push in my direction. This post doesn't bother me as much, just because he would remember better than anyone, as he wanted the avatar before I took my first sabbatical from FFR Forums. ; ) <3 that av.

More questions, but no answers. What's the matter, Omega? Not doing any reasoning out yourself? Don't want to come to a conclusion that would either lead towards you or away from you, both which could be used against you? You're being AWFULLY too cautious in your posts, IMO, and it's quite reminiscent of you as a wolf.

Re: TWG XXVIII: Card Sharks (or Wolves, rather)

I just find it all highly suspicious that 3 names come out of the PM... 2 obviously, and 1 not-so-obviously.

And those are the names of 3 people who are all garnering ALOT of suspicions. In fact, it is ALL the people garnering suspicions, except Omega. I'm not saying I'm agreeing with Fish... but it is one more point to consider.

No matter what role ap had, he had TWO other people working with him covertly... one of which he would trust 100% (figure the guardian at 97-98% trust). Why on earth would he go and send a PM to TPS (who would appear to NOT be apart of the alliance, by receiving the PM), or ANYONE for that matter, when he had 2 other people he could put his trust in...

And, it is not like he could have any extreme level of confidence in anyone being a wolf, as he only got 1 seering (if he was the seer). And had he seen a wolf, he would have said it publically.

As I've been saying from the start... this whole business reaks to high hell. Yes, the style of the PM seems like something ap would do. But the logic and purpose of the PM completely escapes me, given the situation. And while ap is a guy who loves to take risks and show everyone else up, this doesn't seem to flow with that theory. Not to mention TPS saying the PM was received around 9am... why would ap have waited through the entire night to send it? AND... the only reason to send it at all is if he feels he is going to be wolfed. Can he really have thought that, under the circumstances?

It's obviously some sort of brainiac code thing that ap would do. Someone has to de-code it, I guess.

Clearly, multiple people are working on decoding it... or already have and aren't saying anything.

And I've already given plenty of reasons as to why it was not CLEARLY done by ap. It may have been ap... IMO, the logical explanation is that it was done by TPS.

Re: TWG XXVIII: Card Sharks (or Wolves, rather)

Well, when I was talking to Fish earlier, he suggested perhaps ap sent the pm to TPS because he knew TPS would bring it up. Maybe he wanted to get information out without exposing the actual seer or the gaurd. It's a stretch, I know, but it might explain the purpose of the pm.

Re: TWG XXVIII: Card Sharks (or Wolves, rather)

You want to know what I think the PM means? Well first, it would be damn stupid for ap to try revealing the seer and/or guardian in a PM, especially if he gives no specific instruction to make it private. I'm only posting what I believe is the solution because I don't think it's that sensitive that wolves can really do something with it. Here's how I broke it down:

                        Iggy arm clocks Blah
An "arm clock" is a watch. So it logically means that iggy watches blah. I originally thought "arm clock" could mean getting hit... clocked by an arm? I don't think that makes much sense though.

From here, it seems to make sense that certain phrases are substituted for words.

                        get surrounded by wood
From the last phrase, this one following in sequence has to be a verb. Well, what is surrounded by wood? Pictures can have picture frames made of wood. Framed?

when Blah has a black belt in KIR.
when blah has fish? I don't think that makes too much sense in context. I think we looked too far into it. Simply paraphrasing: "blah is excellent at being genuine." Genuine, in the sense of telling the truth.

Scared may remain under the couch, be anti-dangerous.
This one's grammar no longer follows now that the first one makes sense. I think scared sounds like a noun in this case, and the only noun that seems to fit is chicken... chickendude? "under the couch", can simply be defined as out of the spotlight, or missing, or hidden. "anti-dangerous" obviously means "not dangerous". I instantly thought of benign or safe. If you take a bit of a stretch, though, jumping a bit out from it's true opposite meaning, it can be careful or cautious.

Complete paraphrase: "Iggy watches blah get framed, but blah is good at being genuine. Chicken may remain hidden, be cautious."

So, what does this all mean? Here's what I see it as...

Iggy kills aperson, framing blah. Obviously, we know blah would be one to do that, so we'd obviously look to him. But framing is indeed a possibility. But why would aperson send this without knowing he'd be killed? Maybe in case he got killed? I can't be sure. The other one is easy. Chickendude will stay, around enough yet not active enough to be suspicious... "forgotten", in a sense.

                        Thoughts, anyone?

framed part sounds right. dunno about the couch thing or if it's ok to throw out the fish reference.

I still don't quite comprehend the motive for this thing's existence.
