shadow are you aware of what is going on here?

From what I can see it's basically between you and YoshL and the term Thunderdome is being tossed around, and from what a terms list that was given to me said it's basically that two people go in and one person comes back out alive. Other than that I've got information that you've claimed a red on YoshL, which could mean that you somehow managed to pick up a seer ability, and YoshL is counter claiming by saying that he saved you from something called a "KP" (I'm gonna need to know what this means in order to follow along here). YoshL also mentioned that he received a PM regarding a little bit of information about your role and leveling up

I think that's the short version of what's happening here.

Okay so saw the kill, seems expected. Saw the hard red claim, seems remarkable.

Sunfan, pardon me if I'm wrong because of the way the current TWGs run making it impossible to do anything in private but isn't it generally considered a bad idea to come out and go "ohay seered somebody" when you have no way to know if you're able to be protected afterwards? Is there something we should know about whether say...getting this lynch will make you level up again?

I'm prepared to believe Daikyi's a wolf, he was already on my list coming into the phase, and like...if you want to claim a wincon for hitting level 3 that also means we can win as town I'm a lot more likely to get on board with lynching him.

You said you unlock powers by levelling up. You got a level by Roundbox surviving? You want to talk about that? Picking a person to not get lynched on day 1 of a 22 player game seems so trivially easy that I have a hard time believing that would unlock a power for you, but if it did, what was that power? The next level got you a seering for 'predicting the night kill' except mellon died at the hands of a 3p that we know was a 3p because he's been flipped, which means the wolves didn't actually get a kill. Shouldn't that ability have said predict -a- night kill?

Hey look it's mechanics dev asking mechanics questions but yeah, please what's going on here before we just lynch somebody even if they're probably a wolf.

Daikyi - I had you on my wolfy list coming into this phase and now somebody's claimed to have seered you. You said you got some of his pm that indicates that calling lynches gives him powers, which means the idea that he's gotten a seering off on you is certainly possible, yet you aren't especially disputing the claim that you seered red.

Is your actual defense "Yes he seered me, and yes it was red, that just means somebody else in the game as a power that makes me look red to seering"?

Would you like to counterclaim yourself as town or 3p? Obviously you seem to think we should believe you're not a wolf.

Funnygirl If you see this please un-request to be subbed. I know you're frustrated, but with Antori flipping 3p, and now this implication that Daikyi's a wolf (He read you as a wolf earlier) I feel a lot more like you're 3p or town and I'd hate to see you go and get replaced by somebody who is going to have to re-do reads from scratch based on their own reading that might not align with yours.

because I am slightly terrified I'm done this phase

I sent an item to H&H and he died.
I'm assuming the item either got randomly redistribued to you, but that could be wrong.
I don't know how your item works regardless of what it is.

i'm an even-odd role, protect n1, then i can "get certain information about the player's role" n2 from the same player.

So you protected sunfan night one, since he's who you got info about? That's a super lucky coincidence for the fact that he seered you red the same day you found out he has powers we should be afraid of and kill him instead of you for.

The lack of wolf kill night one implies that they tried to kill sunfan and you are why he survived yes?

I'm trying to come to a reasonable conclusion for why a wolf team would decide that deliberately blocking their own night kill to get information about the person they know isn't a wolf instead of just killing them was the right play.

If sunfan actually seered you red, the chain of events here is like

1/ You blocked your team's own night kill to get info about sunfan
2/ You got info about him the same phase he outed you as a wolf
3/ You're going to die, putting the wolf team down one
4/ Even if your team then kills sunfan, they've gotten a 1-for-1 instead of a 1-for-0 just killing him back on step 1

And with that, going to bed. Going to be working tomorrow from 10-6 server which means we'll see how much I can justify distracting myself while I'm at work to post, but I might not post as much until around 7 server tomorrow night.

- When a player dies, an item from them is placed into the item circulation, thus, revealing of hidden mechanics for each player can be triggered by some of these items.

^ Probably the most useful information for guessing what's going on.

these are all valid questions

I am not a seer; I can't just sit on this red check and not out it because I could die later. I only can check someone once, then never again. Maybe someone out there can protect me, I guess we'll find out, but, and I'll talk about this momentarily, when I saw that someone knew my role PM (accompanied with text that makes me think that the person who saw it was not town aligned) I wanted to out the information at the beginning of this day because wolves sometimes can kill people during the day

so if I just sit on the info, wolves can kill me and then town loses all info that I have

I got no powers from roundbox surviving, it instead brought me to level 2, which I could then gain powers by getting to level 3 (I could not directly attempt to get to level 3)

"predicting the nightkill" is bad phrasing on my part, the actual condition is "predict who dies at the start of the next phase" and i can only use it at night

I want to say a little bit more about how I knew Yoshl saw my role pm

based on something I was told, and I was told something very, very specific, I figured it was probably Yoshl who saw my role PM

I looked at the OP, and I thought Yoshl was the only person who, based on what I was told, would fit the bill (It was possible that it was funnier or dafty and I just don't know their preferences well enough or something; it was just super, super likely it was only Yoshl)

in this text, I know two things

that the person knows that I know they saw the Role PM

and that they know something else that I refuse to elaborate upon
