It's the same, but the person has -1 vote every phase so more players would need to vote them to Insta or have majority.

It did turn out that yeah we were both wrong and with hindsight in mind it seems that we were both just figuring it out but in the moment for me it sounded a lot like you just had more info than I had about what it could be (maybe you're just smarter than me, damn)
