Haku's over the wolfiness line for me because...and try to ignore this potentially sounding silly until you hear it out...they replied to an alternative "everyone vote this girl" post with "lol"

Zero thought to making sure other people vote with them, zero thought to making sure the thread is aware of their pre-existing selection, absolute confidence to the point of it being a joke.

You've seen me try to get people to vote for the same character I did. Why haven't you seen Haku? Never even fazed? Not worried for a second? The answer I came up with that has only felt more and more damning is: they have 5 other people who they can privately direct to the same vote they're on, so they're ~guaranteed to remain in the game. It looks bad to reply to someone who's entering the thread with what is your opinion spun in a way that makes it seem like it's the actual state of affairs.

also it's kinda funny how adam's been advocating for voting for whoever and i still have yet to see anyone to actually acknowledge his plan at all?

There's been a handful of peeps who agreed with the plan, but none of them wanted to back it up or fight for it save maybe Precarious. That is super weird, but I don't know what to think of it.

i wanna preface this by starting off responding to the last thing:

i quit twg because i wasn't having fun and wasn't feeling like i wanted to put any effort in twg, and in the year that i didn't play, i learned a lot about dealing with like...other people. I stopped responding to adam because i was actually really sad that i saw myself in how he's carrying himself, and i think blind also confirmed that like, i legit sucked to play with.

When faced with someone like adam who's insisting their opinion is rock solid and the opposite has 0 merit makes me feel like there's more than just a belief there, but an agenda.

See though.....the opposite point have a preeeeeeeety low point of merit is and is mostly based on theorycrafting. I get why you are pissed with him. Hell I'm kind of pissed at him. Not really why I voted you though.

Theorycrafting is not bad, especially to counteract points that adam had made, specifically that rng voting had 0 merits.

So would you have agreed with him a little more if he worded it "Does not have as much merit as...." or "I feel that the chances skew in favor of my idea...." or some variation thereof?

under various situations, both strategies of playing the event have merit, and when someone like adam is refusing to consider any other point, despite valid things that i'm bringing up, it's a wildly different thing than i think you're reading it as.

You're not bringing up valid points you are relying on theories and making a deal out of no private chats, which is not that big of a deal for reasons stated. I get there may be rules that come up that would change what ws the best course but yo you work with what you got and I really do respect your play more then this. I really do believe you are being a little lazy here and normally would agree a little more with Adam on this (Or rather, his point. Adam's acting kind of like a jackass here and I get you don't really like the idea of backing him as a player)

Especially the thing about private comms, i used that as a point to say that there's no private collaboration about the event, and that's about it, i'm unsure if you're reading too much into it, or being influenced by how adam for some reason focused heavily on it.

You brought it up time and time again, as if it was such a powerful point it should just end the debate. I don't think I read to deeply into it at all the way you presented it tbh.

I could see TownYoshL not seeing the merit to go out of his way and meme vote his favorite girl, but not fighting about it to this extent. I get that Adam gets under your skin but I am honestly going to join the side of your points being to weak to think good of. I am honest to God not trying to say "lol braindead fight me irl" or some shit; I'm not trying to trigger you, but yo that be some weak logic and you should know better. Just got back from work, still rereading.

I think my vote is still on sprucegrit. I feel like wolves objective at this stage of the game would be to hurry and find a PR. Therefore stuff has to happen to create the opportunity to create this scenario.

If you think mechanics early game, sprucegrit is the main contender for this.

Anyway, I'll develop thoughts when I catch up.
