You are basically saying any form of angleshooting is scummy (Where you weren't in the last game, angleshooting won and also lost the game so again you are wrong).

I'm assuming angleshooting is synonymous with what it means in poker, and by scummy you mean wolfy?

I don't really know what you're saying here. What am I wrong about? How did it win and lose the game? Is any of what you're saying relevant to my point?

No one called Reuben a wolf and he went straight to hypothetical "why would I do this if I were a wolf" territory. I was just remarking on how he jumped straight to that.

How to scumread needs the ability to put a player in the situation of "If they were a wolf, why would they perform such an action" or even "Why would a wolf be impartial about this, or keen on that". You stated that it is oftentimes more scummy (more likely to be a wolf) than not (being town-aligned) to come up with such a situation.

Do not be like Curry and Rice and backpedal on something you said because it will get you killed. (Yes, that is an irrelevant subject but still, don't say you didn't say it because you in fact did).

That would also apply to you DBP; why do you think that everyone has a role?

It's a hunch based on my own role. TPS brought it up independently and it sort of reinforced that.

The fact he wanted a modkill and explicitly stating that RB basically ruined his win-con should be a telltale sign that Choof's alignment is by himself and not paired with multiple people.

Can anyone else claim that they're a pure vanilla townie? My gut says no. It's not a huge balance issue when the powers are mostly one-shot in nature and divided between white/black phases.

I'm not "heavily reliant" on this idea, but I do think I'm right. Day 1 only lasted an hour, there isn't much information to go on, mostly just reactions/implication from illegal actions. I'm trying to work myself through the format and mechanics of this game based on the actions and attitudes that people have displayed so far towards the phase changes.

I have no idea what you're referencing with Curry and Rice.

I stand by my initial statement and never backpedaled from it; just clarified it for you. Your two quoted examples don't apply here. Reuben essentially claimed VT, I called him out saying I don't believe a true VT exists, he said why would he lie about being a wolf if he's a VT because VT's don't have an incentive to lie. He's using circular logic to defend himself from a question that didn't specifically imply that he was a wolf. He took it upon himself to make that clarification and then posit hypothetical thought-experiments. It just seems odd to me.

Was thinking humans, wolves, and 2nd wolf team

Two wolf teams need to wipe each other out and achieve parity to win or something

wrong, I have no killing power (hence why we only had one night kill)
I am not a wolf
I am not town

ps you were angleshooting with my asking to be modkilled which only gives me more incentive to not help the town

The reason why I haven't said much about my own role is due to wanting to be investigated. There hasn't been one game where I was investigated and either outed or cleared due to it, so I am hopefully forcing an investigation on myself.

The only problem with that is I do not know if that wields detrimental consequences or benefits town in some way.

I have to agree with this, I'm opposed to any sort of claims until it is necessary and not arbitrarily outing a potential role saying "Here wolves, kill me" or "Don't kill me, I'll kill you with my role wolves".
