the one thing I've lost is an intense (and foolhardy imo) passion to get a home run d1 lynch. I want it to be a good lynch and if there's a red lynch hell yeah but it's not necessary to win the game, and when I feel like I've hit a eureka moment really early in the game and I don't get the lynch I want I'm incapable of moving on and it's probably bad for my team even if I'm right.

this is a good time to talk about this actually I think. let's see I talked to fg early and she like hard claimed wolf emotionally and I was torn on whether I wanted to bring it to thread because I thought she was serious and it made me sad cuz I wanted to play. then she said it was a reaction test.

ghangs, cedo sunfan yoshl were there. we talked about blanky for a bit, cedo talked about V for a bit. we kept it short cuz outsiders started joining. I got to look at ppls faces. sunfan picked up a 3rd vote while we were there and he laughed it off and his facial expression never really changed. composed for sure but I'm not giving that tooo much credence I think he's becoming more comfortable with sitting around with some votes, just in general.

I talked to tokzic like right now, we're not seeing things the same wayyyyyy it's making me CRY many tears.

Part of me wants to keep my vote at sunfan, but the other part wants to discard my reads against him entirely. I'll look into reads against other players later tonight and see if anything turns up (probably not, lmao).

i suppose i filtered it through my lens a little too much. what you did there was explain your game when it wasn't heavily being pushed for in a longer fashion, and you revealed that your behaviors have changed because you don't invest as much into day 1 anymore. that might be true, but whatever, that's not the point.

the point is you chose to bring it up. so going forward we will, if we accept your story, filter your actions through the idea that day one finding a wolf is not that important to you and you are more focused on getting a couple townreads (whoop de doo what an easy thing to do as a wolf.) effectively, if we take that as true and don't question your motives for saying it, it's a pretty good way to skate by without being focused on much for a day. in a 9 player game wolves want to win three phases so getting two townreads by spending 1/3 of your chances isn't the best strategy nor is it the best odds.

and telling the thread this is your strategy is a statement that you think this is an effective way to play. or it's an attempt to buy a certain number of hours in hopes that some human fucks up enough.

don't like it. in an anonymous game i can see getting into the more bayesian side of things where you go "i've eliminated myself and i've eliminated these two players from the pool, so selecting quasi-randomly from the remaining six yields me better than average odds" but i don't really see it in a game where we can find truly aberrant behaviors (even if we find mostly noisy ones) and i really don't see why you would set aside the idea of putting someone under the gun as it's usually the most effective tool for splitting opinions.

I think it's an effective enough way to play, it's my strat for now and I don't see any harm in telling the thread. it's not like I'm not gonna try to kill a wolf. I just don't have suuuuper high confidence in my ability to find what I'm looking for.

that last sentence I totally agree with. I wouldn't set that aside.

ok lets get down to some buisness.

funnygurl, how's it going.

So you intro-ed into the game really weirdly, and yeah you say you play weird. it felt still kinda awkward.

The second time that you jumped back in, it looks like you took the toxkzi stuff that was posted right then #98 ish.

You pop back in at like #106, but the thing is that you didn't comment at all on other points of weirdness, like the blankey sunfan action, rather, deciding to speak on what (i think) would have been the easiest thing for you to grab hold of, toskxic's most recent opinion. you also really don't say anything new other than you agree with tosxkc.

then at post #121, you make a vote on sunfan. I do understand there was alot of OOT chat and stuff about blake and sunfan, but it's like you've established that if blake is town, then sunfan is a wolf? (correct me if i'm wrong) however, you didn't even give much reasoning, instead jumping on the boat of votes with the most.

also, your posts are far and between, but that's an aside. along w/ what toxksxix said eaerlier, might be busy life, benefit of the doubt, but that point is still out there, and probably becoming more prevalant. although (again) yes, OOT.
