I mean I'm willing to admit I was just flat wrong and didn't do a very good job. I feel mostly responsible for what happened this game because I influenced the lynch for like 2.5 days of this and probably slipped up by talking to too many people(the funny thing ended up not mattering). If I can get over this dejected feeling I might play the next game but I'm not sure. I'm definitely going to play in the future, just maybe not immediately.

Manti and Hans won't roll blue every game. in a game full of Mantis and Hanses maybe you and I roll blue, and even though we've played our fair share of twg maybe the perception is that we're dragging our team down.

who cares? it's a game. after fucking up maybe we learn a thing or two and then top the pros next game. I like that better than having this huge barrier between new players and this elitist group who can only be bothered to play twg with each other.

this isnt just an issue that i realized once the game is over and we lost. i would have been saying the same damn thing if we won. i was saying it to other players in the game the whole time. the whole game suffers from having so many new people in a game like that. hans was in the game trying to pull off a bunch of shit for the humans but most of the stuff he was doing kept getting shit on because of the decisions of "inexperienced" players.

To Hans's defense, he specifically requested that the jailkeeper not be contacted until a full day had passed to counter-claim, and that was immediately ignored and then publicized to the skype that the "he had contacted me". We all essentially knew it was down to either bynary or ___ at that point, and that was on day 1. I wouldn't place that blame with him.

Just a question - why does everybody seem to think I'd jump the gun so quick and contact Guest instantly about my supposed role? A bunch of people have stated that and I don't know what the basis for that is.

if he couldn't win their votes then he couldn't win their votes. there are so many things you can do even as a super plain boring green to shake things up, especially in a game where AIM skype etc are allowed. bribe people into voting wolves, threaten people into voting wolves, whatever it takes. humans can also set traps via IMs and then post incriminating logs. I don't think I saw any attempts made.

and yeah, you're not the only person to argue in favor of a jTWG system. I might be in the minority. I'm gonna fight it all the way though. and also I'm gonna find Fiction so he can fight it cuz I know he was opposed.

I feel like I've learned a lot about TWG and how to play TWG lately. part of that is because I'm 23 years old instead of 15 when I last played this game, but I also think part of it is because I'm not stuck in the jTWG slums.

I'm pissed at all the people who demanded summaries of posted logs rather than just read the entirety of the log itself. A summary is great and all, but the real convincing happens when you read the entire conversation and absorb the context and natural flow that the conversation takes as points are being made. I don't know how people gave Xiz a pass when he literally told me that he'd insta himself as a human if he were roleblocked. Jurs and Hans also posted substantial logs that held merit to them that were largely ignored as well.

You can try to say the humans were inactive, but that's selling our effort short. The thread was inactive, and thats something that most TWG Players Post 2009 view as inactive. On the contrary though, Hans, Jurs and myself probably have mounds of raw data in skype logs that dwarfs anything posted in the thread. I can easily say I personally invested at least 20 hours last week into my Xiz/Bynary digging and discussing.

I fell short by not making more substantiated and convincing posts, but to criticize the human effort for lack of interest or posting is a downright fucking joke and is disrespectful to the time and emotion (its ok hans haha) collectively put into this.

That being said, I can't wait until the next time I'm a wolf. Survived after one from insta and with a phantom lmao.

I didn't know much about you. I talked it through with sunfan so I didn't think it was him. Xiz/tps/jurs I just pegged as being smarter than that. Guest said "he"(which if you REALLY thought about playing gender neutral like you claim you would have said they) which left you, ____ and clasko as the ones that were in the chat. Clasko was pretty blunt when I asked him what he thought(he said it was an awful idea) and you and _____ gave me a lukewarm answer. After guest was okay with lynching you I knew it was him.

That fault lies with both Guest and me. Guest should not have told the doctor came out immediately, but more importantly, I should not have come out to him until the next day (what Hans said).
