K dude let's talk about this for a second, and this has nothing to do with hunting wolves. You are making your touchstone for wolfiness "hypocrisy." This is bad. We are all hypocrites. I can show this very briefly and easily

Not because I'm trying to create a new paradigm to operate under as a wolf (because honestly, why would I do it like this?) and launching a full out character assault on day 1 is always a terrible move if you're a wolf. You should realize this.

see it's really easy to find hypocrisy but hypocrisy proves nothing. my mother smoked cigarettes and she told me not to smoke cigarettes. she was fucking right i shouldn't have. but the point of me focusing on her hypocrisy was never about me getting at the capital big T Truth, it was about the relationship between me and my momma. which is what all hypocrisy is about.

but we don't care about who is the bigger hyopcrite, all we really care about is finding people who are behaving in a way that says they've got to keep some lies they made going.

So you decided to try to branch out your playstyle. Okay, I can understand, this is a game where reinventing the wheel and being unpredictable can have some merits. Buuuut the way you did it was really clunky and now you're sorta suspicious, so at the cost of the effectiveness of your new metagame I really want you to clarify why you thought this meta was going to be useful as a human.

It's useful only in that it allows me to speak freely without restraint; something I wasn't able to afford to do last game. Even if I say things rashly, it still severely contrasts my previously calculated approach. My fear was falling into a similar play style to the last few games and having people latch onto that. I failed to see that as a human my primary concern shouldn't be to worry about how I come across, but to worry about how I come across in my points to lynch wolves. Anything else just detracts from the objective.

The irony in the execution of my intentions is apparent to me. I selfishly created a worse situation than the one I feared.

Saying that, I still believe in my reads. YMIA is definitely the most suspicious person to me, and I just re-read the entirety of the thread, after stepping away for a few minutes, just to give myself a fair chance at changing my mind. I have not.

You're right about that.

But disregarding other players that are doing what Manti is doing and them not being noticed is...well, not right. Specially since there isn't much of a difference between the absence of the players I mentioned and Manti's absence.

Maybe Manti got more attention because he is a lot more experienced, only yoman knows.

I believe manti gets more attention because he is so hard to read, so there was this lingering thought in that back of my brain that always goes "if he can contribute more at the beginning before expectations begin to solidify maybe I will have a better sense of his mindset."

At this point I'm thinking she's not in any position as a full higher-role position as a townie. Granted, I'm unsure if it's normal for someone to keep these identities COMPLETELY safe? I know we wouldn't want our doctors or cops to be lynched or night-killed, so at the same time I guess as a town, doctors and cops don't want to be revealed. But then again, she could be one of the one-shot townspeople. At this point there's a greater chance that she's a townie than her being a mafia...A townie will have to be sacrificed at some point, right? Maybe I'm wrong in that.
