kraut. I am perfectly fine adding to this wagon at the moment. gonna see what other wagons pick up speed, but kraut give me some of your solid reads right now
Ohohohoho!
Sorry for it not being "right now". I hope that it is acceptable to do it after all these hours...you know, stuff happens on Sunday.
Okay, let me give you the Krauthammer's point of view for voting and stuff, first than all. Paraphrasing, as hah, I'll confess I'm often a deadpan snarker in my own thoughts, but I'll leave that out:
"Zoshi just gave a reason. And seems good enough, he does have the reason. Bummer, there goes my somewhat reasonable vote."
So tell me, what is the better scenario: me to keep the vote on a player that, at that time had little to no suspicion on him, or toss votes around like it were a game of hot potato? Yes, voting James was an option back there (and still is an option) but I can't say I was comfortable with it, after all, I had that question to ask him. Cursed lack of AIM!
If anything else, I think that keeping my vote on Zoshi was, at that time, the best one could do, from my point of view. It didn't clutter the vote-count with vote changes, and seeing how one needs a real majority to lynch, it wasn't harmful in any way. But noooooooow...now that people are voting Zoshi, it has turned into something more fundamental and game-changing, I'll reckon it. Keeping it on the player while I don't have enough suspicion to back it up would feel...wrong.
Solid reads? Hum. In what sense? Every player, or do you have concrete names in mind?
Now, leaving aside this whole thing, let me focus on something else. Thank you!
Jaaaaaaaaaaaaames!
James, I see that you haven't posted since that time in Page five or six, so I suppose you didn't have the time to answer, but I'll repeat the question for your convenience:
If your base for voting Syhto ends being her usual TWG style (which it seems it is. Only have seen one game, so I don't have much of a say), would you still keep your vote on her? If not, who would you vote?
Please, answer soon.
Meanwhile, I guess I'll go for a temporal (I hope. Will there be a bandwagon later on this player? Maybe! You people are unpredictable!) vote on freakysnots
There was no 'giving up' in this particular situation. Freaky noted Zoshi exhibited wolf-like behaviour more so than James did with his voting blunders (if James is truly human). I reread the thread and agreed with him. Why would I place the third of seven votes required to lynch Zoshi (as well as display a rather clear intention to keep my vote there unless the only other way to achieve a lynch this phase is to vote James) if Zoshi and I were both wolves? I wouldn't have been giving him up by voting for Zoshi when he only had less than half the votes required to lynch him.
A wolf giving up Zoshi in this situation could be the fifth, sixth, maybe final vote. Not the first two that started the rally to begin with (I'm excluding Kraut's vote because that was prior to all of this happening). I guess I don't see it paying off for a wolf to lead a lynch against a fellow wolf on Day 1 just for the sake of distance. I'd rather have the numbers.
Syhto just seems human to me. She doesn't need to be cleared I suppose, just my thoughts.
Ok, I'm just making sure I understand what it is you are saying and feel free to correct me if I am wrong. You and freaky should be waived off as humans simply because of how early you voted for zoshi in his voting life? I get and understand your point about why you say that, but in this game, I don't think anyone should just be up and cleared because of when they voted for someone. I could also surmise that through your train of thought, anyone right now not voting for zoshi is considered a wolf.
I already admitted why I voted how I did regardless of how stupid or petty it sounds. If I sit here and change my vote now, you could sit here and label me as either a bandwagoner or a wolf giving up his partner since there is only a few votes needed to lynch. What exactly do you propose then?
Sucks that I can only see like 6 posts during day but when I'm sleeping you guys post like 2 pages.
OWA is really really really doing pretty bad wolf play I'm guessing. Insisting you should be cleared by leading a lynch on someone who looks a little wolfy does not make you look human.
Freaky, owa and James also seemed tied together.
Wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be wolves. Infact, I'm calling it now, owa, freaky and james are wolves. (This is not solid, but merely a hunch so I will fail yo give decent evidence supporting it).

sorry, summer term started today in college and I haven't had time to look through this thread as much as I would like to. Like I said about Syhto, I know that is her playstyle but even then I have not seen that from her in any of the games where she swap out votes 4 consecutive times. Would I keep my vote on her? Yes mainly because she might be using that (and whatever other stuff that goes on in the thread) to hide that she could be a red. I'm not saying that it is, but if you discard her playstyle and look at her like any other player, don't you think that its a bit odd and suspicious coming from someone?
On my lunchbreak I'm going to re-evaluate my positioning on James, it's pretty easy to bite on one play day 1 and forget to look at everything as a whole.
I kinda get the same feeling of Zoshi's posts being light on content/a lot of air, but I have a feeling that's more because most of the conversation is contrived, not because he's a wolf.
That being said, I expect a lot more out of TPS222 You've been on OWA since page 3 or 4 and haven't made a constructive post since then. What's up?

Manti, I apologize for insulting you. Let the record show that I am a prickass douche, and not only that, but that I am a terrible player.

you are definitely a wolf.
"i'm not going to vote for who i think is a wolf because then you might label me a bandwagoner"
bullshit. bulllllllll shiiiiiiiiiit.
more like "i don't want blood on my hands and v is clearly not going to die tonight, so i'd much rather watch a human die without my vote on them and make it so you have to tell me how to behave before i try to contribute in any meaningful fashion."
Yeah, at this point Gun seems even more suspicious to me than Zoshi. Asking these questions and trying to keep the game open-ended with the possibility for everyone being a wolf at all times. Okay fine, don't clear anyone, but I think those that press the first few votes for successful lynch against a wolf early on are the least likely wolves. And I didn't say the fifth/sixth/seventh votes are usually wolves giving up their partner, just that a wolf lurking in the first through fourth votes is much less likely. Giving up their partner is something they'd do after the halfway point. Is that better?
Zoshi I didn't say to clear me and freaky regardless of what happens when you're flipped. If you're human, obviously that bites us in the ass and we'd be targeted next phase -- you'd have needed to be flipped red. Lucky for you, I don't think you're the most suspicious person anymore.
That being said, I really hope we can achieve some sort of lynch today. With the way votes are currently spread out, it's looking doubtful. Hopefully activity picks up soon and we can come to a consensus after everyone reads everything. I'm still iffy on Zoshi's humanity...might switch back if others want to press on with him instead of anyone else. More input would be nice.
I'm not saying it isn't possible for anyone to be a wolf, but it seems like you're really pushing for everyone to keep that mindset. And if you were a wolf, obviously you would, probability favors you when everyone shares that mentality. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to try and set aside the least likely wolf players and work on the others?

No need to apologize, buddy. Trust me, I know how it feels. I won't give you flak for being busy. Good luck in your summer term.
On the other hand, you got a good point there, and I can say I agree with you.
Okay, for a real vote. Syhto. I suppose that it is her strange playstyle what got me confused. I'll never be able to read her for sure, hahahaha
It is rather weak reason, but this is the vote I feel better with. James and Zoshi gave a reasoning to their votes, and it seemed well thought enough, and from a human point of view...well, Zoshi less than James, but it is still the point. Wouldn't be surprised if I change my vote again...
I'm currently blank about Angel and Gun. Angel has a funny thing: some posts are very nice and logical, while others have a terrible grasp of the situation. I also can't avoid feeling that Angel is looking for players to lean on, in terms of reasoning. And Gun...well, I feel that he isn't focusing on the game very much. That needs to be corrected.
Gun, question: from what I get from your posts, I seem to understand that Vendetta is far from being your suspicion, but you also think that if you change your vote, Vendetta will mark you as bandwagoner. I suppose this means you suspect Zoshi or James or Angel or...whoever you suspect, but you don't want to change your votes because it would affect your image in front of everybody. Am I interpreting your posts correctly?
First off, calm down V. I didn't know keeping an open mind and trying to understands ones logic was a wolf like behavior. All I did was ask questions, not like I was condemning anyone to being a wolf. Ill vote for Zoshi, that is fine with me. I was just asking for clarity on your thought process OWA, that is all. Keep your votes on me, that is fine. I'm not asking for you to take them off nor do I have a reason to make you do so. All I wanted was clarification on some things.

how is that anything but readily apparent? why do you need to get more clarification from him?
also, how is that exact behavior you described that he is undertaking anything but extremely wolfy?
James May is currently on the chopping block, and you aren't voting for him, and you aren't applying significant pressure elsewhere. do you personally feel that 7 hours before deadline is a good time to dip your toes into the water?
these are questions i am personally directing towards you mr. krauthammer, because i want to know your answers to them.
