    The jTWG Show-your-interest thread

Since we've had a few newer people show up lately I figured we could use a centralized place to keep track of them. There have been a respectable amount popping up in random threads along with a few I'm aware of that haven't said anything yet that would like to play, and ideally a few more lurking around here. If they would all be so kind as to post here, expressing their interest, we can get a rough count and see how quickly, if at all, jTWG will be reinstated. Please feel free to direct all new players here appropriately. Good luck all potential players.

Alright, I'm new here and actually completely new to the whole TWG game itself. But, I still want to try it out. So if anything starts up, count me in.

Let me add in here that, in the case that there aren't enough people to add another jtwg (which I'm guessing will be the case) and the newer players don't feel confident enough to jump right into a twg, we could apply a "shadowing" system whereby newer players play along with an experienced player to sort of get the hang of it. We tried this once to limited success. Just a contingency suggestion. If new players are willing and confident enough to jump right in (not like experience matters THAT much in terms of understanding the rules), then by all means they should go for it.

Yeah, I am new to this. I understand all of the rules, and all I need now is to play. I am up for a game.

Yeah, I'm showing my support also.
I'm currently signed up for a game at DDRfreak and scared out of my mind as I know the basics, yes, but it'd be nice to use them before thrusting myself into a game with people who've played the game 10+ times.

            I'm very very very interested.

If there's enough interest, I'll host the first game.

I think that's a great idea. I've followed along quite a few games that DBP has played in, asking questions and having him explain why he does what he does and it's really helped me a lot. He's nice to noobs. hah.
Though, applying it to a game might be really complicated...

Yeah, it really doesn't seem like a bad idea to me either. Although ideally, I'd like to play games of my own. Learning is best through personal experience, I'd think. Make your own mistakes and learn how to fix them.

But, it seems like a pretty good idea if all else fails. Just a really clever backup plan.

Eh, yeah, I wouldn't like to play with an experience player. I'd want to play alone. But, it's nice to have someone whom you can ask questions, you know?

I would play, even though I'm more interested in the main TWG, since I've actually played it once before elsewhere. So yeah, I could play a round of jTWG

Well, of course. Someone unrelated to the game at the time who knows the rules to pretty much any game is a helpful asset to anyone. i.e. Disco or Stoic.

Because rules are good to know. And to me it seems easy to get confused when special roles come into play.
