Infiltration - Application Form - Flash Flash Revolution
Fill out this form to be considered for a spot in Infiltration. There are 15 players. This thread will help me get a feel of who I should pick to be in the game for this, since this is a beta run of the game.
Requirements (if you don't fulfill these, don't even bother signing up): Must have played at least 2 TWGs, and 1 of those must have been one of the 4 most recent.
Answer the following questions and reply to this thread with your completed app. If you reply for any purposes other than filling out this application, such as arguing with someone else's answers or coming up with a rebuttal, that doesn't help your chances of getting in. In fact, it hurts them.
Answers should be at least 2 sentences, but not more than a paragraph. I'm looking for people who aren't afraid to write a little.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This thread will be locked sometime Saturday night. The 15 people who I choose will be notified privately of their involvement in the game. The complete player list will remain anonymous until the end of the game.
I"m actually gonan fill this out. That's how awesome I am.
1. I"m most except introspective or dfescriptive, although I do enough on AIM of description... I'd have to say being analytical and intelligent are the forte's though.
2. Paranoid .. but I don't think its bad... its definately needed to cover your ass
3. of anyone or people that might sign up? I'd say anyone that own't put in the time / could be a liability.. but a specific name woudl be Jurs just cuz of all the crap that happened last game.
4. Me, of course... I jst bought MGS 3
5. Hmm, I bet most people will say Tass's fake seer crap, but it really wasn't that good, and it lamost cost them the game if only TnyHwk wasn't a moron... so I'd have to say Stretchy's overall performance in TWG VII.. although that's not a particular strategy move I guess. TWG VIII one could say that I kinda cleaned house.. but I should have had 3 saves, so I'm at fault there. I really did liek the whole giving myself protection even though i'm the guardian routine, including the "flipping a coin between me and EB" crap.
6. I'll be humorous and say Raiden.
1) I'll say Logical/Analytical. When people are being ignored or trusted, I look for incriminating evidence. When people are being accused, I look for ways that support them being human. My goal is always to have the most objective view possible of a person if possible before deciding to off them (nforcer last game.)
2.) Many would say I'm impulsive, because I act so emotional in the game, but it really is planned, despite how it seems. I'll go with paranoid, because I will always search for every reason to still be suspicious of someone, even when quite sure they are human.
3.) I really don't like incriminating people without being provoked, but I will say there are some in the last TWG that acted too impulsively with their votes, taking things for only face value, and they force everyone to lower their level of play so that everyone understands and no one gets voted just because certain people are being left behind in their reasoning.
4.) Tasselfoot. He has served his penalty with pride and patience and I think he's ready to play for the fun of the game. His high level of thought is much missed.
5.) I think it would be conceided for anyone to claim one of their own strategies (ahemblah) and will say Tass has it. He tells me he invented the strategy of balancing suspicion perfectly to not get lynched and avoid being wolfed simultaneously, and it is a fine strategy.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
Careful Reader. I'm always trying to pick people's posts apart, trying to analyze what they were thinking and if what they say is a clever form of manipulation.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
Overanalytical. I'll often think myself into circles and not come to any definite conclusion. But I really think my worst quality is how easily I'll believe someone.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
Someone who's not willing to put A LOT of effort into this game.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
TWG veterans. They've shown that they have what it takes to play, and I have faith in their commitment.
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
Brilliant strategy? Hmm... that's tough. Alain's fake seer bit was truly amazing, but it got foiled with a spot of bad luck. I'll just go with that.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
Uh, Liquid Snake, because I've heard of him and I think he's a villain.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
I'll go with Logical and Intelligent. More than anything, my winning strategies for TWGs are a combination of both. Being smart enough to write posts that gain trust with the blues, then using logic to deduce which of the remaining players are not human. Also it requires leadership to maintain an alliance.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
I don't feel that I have any of these particular qualities, so I'll say my worst quality is my overzealous nature (read: way too competitive, which resulted in my suspension). I'm working on that, and will be much more committed to the fair play of the game.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
Qreepy & Moogy. I know they won't be allowed in anyway, but their blatant disregard for the rules of the game and the spirit of the game has cost them greatly in this forum. PS - any suprise they are the #1 and #2 posters on FFR? They just have to post everywhere.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
Chardish. Its his idea, his game, his everything. If Chardish isn't allowed to be apart of the game, I will poo my pants.
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
My move in TWG4 was out of necessity of Q screwing up. The most brilliant TWG strategy has to be from TWG2. It started with dumb luck, but once Flypie came to me as the seer, the concept of the human alliance was born. The master wolf was a direct result of my strategy in TWG2/3.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
Um... never played MGS, don't feel like researching it at all... so, at this point, the only villian i know is Fatman. Guess i'm in trouble.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
I would say that I'm logical and intelligent. My most strong characteristic, I'd say, is my descriptiveness. I sometimes think "how did I just say that without a thesaurus?" Needless to say, I have a pretty extensive vocabulary.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
I am a bit impulsive. I rarely think of what others will think of my posts, and I have paid the price for this on more than one account. I also have times of paranoia if I do something, then realize that it's something that a wolf might have done.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
Tass. He's a cheater. He's cheated in the past, and he cheated this last game too.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
I'd say blah. His ingenious plan last game really enlightened me, and showed that blah is really very good at tactics. I have intelligence, but I'm no good at the tactics.
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
I'd think it was blah's plan to get eb saved. That was so smart. Also, I liked Alain's "act suspicious so I don't get wolfed" plan, but that kinda didn't work for him in the end.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
I'm sorry; I'm also not familiar with MGS. However, I do not feel that knowlege of MGS is totally necessary, because I understood the story of the last game fine.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
Probably Descriptive. I don't post a lot not because I'm not around, but because it takes a while before I find something willing to post about, because I want to pull as much out of it as possible.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
Paranoid, I guess. I TRUST NO ONE O_O
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
That's not my place to say.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
That's also not my place to say.
5.) What was the most brilliant TWG strategy move of all time?
No offense, but this is a pretty stupid question. There's no real TWG equivalent to a one-handed touchdown catch in triple coverage or a queen sacrifice that forces checkmate within the next several moves.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
Metal Gear Solid is meh. I have no idea.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
1. I would have to say my best quality is a careful reader. I read the thread multiple times, just to insure that I haven't skipped over a crucial, yet sometimes subtle, part of someone's post. If a wolf messes up and says something that is incriminating, I'll be sure to see it and call them on it.
2. My worst quality is my habbit of being overanalytical. I tend to sometimes give people more credit than they deserve, and think that they have formulated some complex plan to confuse everyone, when sometimes it can just be taken at face value. However, better to be overanalytical than under.
3. The person, I believe, who least deserves to play is anyone willing to cheat or give themselves an unfair advantage in order to win. This completely ruins the game and I hate it.
4. The person most deserving to play is the one who is willing to take hours a day to focus purely on this game. I realize that many people only check the thread once a day real quick when they have a free moment, and that is fine. However, the people who go out of their way to make an excel worksheet or read the entire thread several times really deserve to be able to play. I would put myself somewhere inbetween the two.
5. The best strategy would have to be the whole fake seer bit pulled by Alian I believe it was. That move takes some serious balls to pull off, and even though it didn't work as nicely as planned, it had awesome potentional. I hope someone else pulls a move like that and actually fools the entire human team the whole game .
6. I'd have to say Colonel Volkin, just because I've been awaiting my chance to dive into Snake Eater, and this guy is pretty badass looking.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
I would call myself logical and analytical. I always look for a process of elimination and statements of "if A is something, B must be something else" and then building an elaborate web to therefore reduce the number of possible wolves. My style of play, except in my first game, has always been moderate AIM activity, a few big posts but not a large amount of writing on the forums, and working with others to put together pieces of information revealed to each player. This is to create a larger picture, and every game I have been in I have predicted at least 1 of the wolves.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
I would say my worst quality is paranoia. I am quite often not trusting enough of key players to make a good allaiance. My cynical nature often shows through and makes others untrusting of me as well.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
Anyone with a history of cheating, LD Tass Emmcky and others, have a certain dishonesty about them. If you are willing to distort the perspective of the game and ruin it for others, you should not be allowed in such an elite game as infiltrtion. This is supposed to be the best of TWG, so any chance of dishonesty changing the result of the game should be minimized.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
I think the most worthy players in TWG are alain, chardish (despite him being hosting this game and therefore not able to play) and evilbutterfly. These people all have a kind demeanor and are able to lull others into working with them. None of them are egotistical. The quality of the ideal TWG player, in my opinion, is a calm, humble player who has a plan. You can be very manipulative, but to be truly good you must be kind during the whole game.
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
Stretchy's lulling of Guido during TWG VII was brilliant. She was able to keep him in the clouds while at the same time getting information about all the special roles. Manipulation in a face to face situation is truly masterful when done correctly. In context of over the web, I would probably say the TWG IV game's wolves, especially Chardish and Tass, were able to cover everyone's eyes with total mastery. I am still very impressed by their scheme.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
FOXHOUND (despite being several people) itself is the biggest group of villians. In the right context, everybody is a bad guy.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
I can't pick more than one? Well, the one that I believe I show best is being analytical. Instead of looking on the surface of matters, I take into consideration every possible outcome and take note of them. When I played the game as a wolf for the first *real* time, I considered my options every night and wrote detailed instructions to myself as to why or why not that person would be a good choice, and what outcomes would entail.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
Paranoia. I might have actually failed one of my finals this year as a result of this game (This was during TWG VI). I always lay awake after following up the thread wondering what the next day would bring, and ended up losing many hours of sleep.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
Aside from the banned players? Any person that has admitted to cheating in past games and served no punishment for it, but is still signing up for this anyway.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
Tass. A "TWG-type" game isn't a "TWG-type" game without him, sadly. Alain tried his best to meet his standards, but just couldn't make all the connections as he could.
5.) What was the most brilliant TWG strategy move of all time?
If I want to glorify Tass more, it comes from TWG IV where he pulled the fake Seer bit to throw off everybody else. If I want to glorify myself, it comes from TWG VI where our team actually got Tass LYNCHED without more than one wolf voting for him.
(Note the bolded letter. Spelling error.)
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
You know I haven't played MGS either. I could theoretically purchase Twin Snakes for my GCN, but I just held off on the purchase.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
I would have to say attentive. I'm online for most of the days, i frequently check theses forums, though i don't always post, and I always pay attention to everyone else's post, aim conersations, or chat that goes down with me.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
I would have to say impulsive. I think my vote gets changes too easily. I trust other people's decison more then myself, so it's a bit of self-doubt. Most of my own voting goes on what i see at the moment, not a carefully, well-thought of plan.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
I think anyone who signs up and doesn't participate shouldn't be allowed in. I have seen this numerous times, with people signing up, then saying their sick of this game and don't want to play anymore, or just not posting at all. This is wasting spots for people who really want to play.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
I would have to say Chardish since it is his idea for the game, unless he is hosting it, then i would have to say Tass. He is easily one of, if not the best player at these logic games.
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
In my opinion, it would have to be Alain's fake seer move. It would have worked perfectly, he just ran into some bad luck. Definately more daring then what anyone else has done
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
Never played MGS. Always wanted to, but never got around to it, I am going to have to try those games out soon. Any idea if there going to come out with a combo pack like they did with GTA?
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
Attentive. I am not the best at putting facts together, but when I'm looking for facts I can find them readily. Combined with being loud about it and telling everybody my findings, I bring up points others may have missed so that the more analytical folks can decipher things.
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
I'd like to think I don't exibit any of those very much, but I must admit to being a wee bit paranoid. I don't do it to the point of freaking out, but it makes me very distrustful of everyone. This helps in some ways, but hurts in that I have a difficult time accepting alliances.
Also, I can be a bit overanalytical. Sometimes when I think somebody might be a wolf and go looking for evidence, I find a little more than is there. Of course, being loud helps to counter this, as smarter players will correct me on my errors.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
I don't really know. First person that comes to mind is Moogy, though. Not just for him posting in the thread even though it was clear he would be permabanned, but for his activity in TWG 5 (or was it 4? I can't remember). He didn't defend himself and wasn't active and then attempted to vigilante Kilga with no proof at all. People that care so little should not be in the game.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
Again, I don't really know. First person that comes to mind here is me, but that's just my selfishness showing. Other than that, I'd like to think all the loyal TWGers, those who sit at their computers waiting for the sign-up threads to unlock, the people who live, eat, and breathe TWG. People with passion about the game. Honestly, I think the person who most deserves to play in this ultimate TWG should be its creator, Chardish. (and no, that's not me sucking up, it's that this version requires a passion for the game, and when I think of people who have a passion for the game, Chardish immediately leaps to mind)
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
Alain and Amanda as wolves. It wasn't one specific instance, but that game as a whole. Amanda avoided suspicion despite being VERY CLOSE with human IRL. Alain and Amanda (both, on different occasions) worked with each other over the phone and through each others' accounts in order to keep playing though not at the computer.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
Haha, Fatman is such a pansy. If you look, his nails are painted...pink, if I remember correctly. Named after the atomic bomb...yeah right.
But seriously, I'm not a big enough MGS fan to know. The guy in the stealth suit (I forget his name at the moment ) is definitly the most badass and awesome, but he is your friend by the end, so I'm not sure. If he counts as a villain, I'll say the stealth suit guy is the best one.
QUESTION FOR CLARIFICATION: I just realized that you said the complete player list won't be revealed until after the game is over. I assume this means that new accounts on FFR and AIM will be completely necesarry (can't spell that word, sorry). This anonymity will be interesting, but something you may or may not have thought of is that it gives mods an unfair advantage. They could easily check the IP of the new screenname against those who requested to play and determine who each person is. It's a fine idea, but it leaves a giant open shot at cheating for any mods who will play.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

I can view all moderators actions, so I can report if Tass (Which I assume will be the only moderator playing) checked anyones IP.
1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
I'm very analytical. When I was guardian in game three, I wrote pages each night in an attempt to figure out who I should guard. I ended up being right one night, and got extremely close another (the end of my analysis brought me to a choice between two players, and I picked the wrong one). The only game in which I really failed to be analytical was game VI, when I was seer, but I really shouldn't have signed up for that game due to other stresses in my life at the time (finals, seasonal hell at work, etc.)
2.) In another thread I wrote that the worst qualities of a TWG player are: Illogical, Impulsive, Overanalytical, Inattentive, Paranoid, Terse, Unclear, and Uncommitted. Which one of these qualities do you worst exhibit? Why?
I'm innattentive. Basically, when I get home from work and see ten new pages on the thread, of which half the posts within are garbage, I have difficulty forcing myself to do more than skim through them. Thus, I sometimes miss important bits of info, I also tend to be a bit paranoid, although I am beginning to get over that.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
I dunno. Lots of people, I would think. But I don't really see how this is relevent.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
Again, I don't think this is relevent. However, I will say that blah has impressed me in every game that I have chatted with him in. He is very good at piecing together information, although he has had problems in the past getting people to listen to him (see games IV and VI).
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
Without a doubt when Stretchy masqueraded as both herself and Alain. Tass and Alain's fake seer bits were alright, but nothing amazing compared to this.
6.) Who is the biggest badass of a villain in MGS history? Why? (NOTE: If you say Fatman you will NOT get in)
The End.
Although I haven't played MGS 3 yet, I cannot possibly imagine a villain more badass than an ancient man who gets into sniper battles with you. And his bird companion just adds to the badassness. Plus, his name.
The End.
With a name like that, how could he not be utterly badass?

1) In another thread I wrote that the best qualities of a TWG player are: Logical, Analytical, Introspective, Descriptive, Attentive, Aware, Intelligent, and a Careful Reader. Which one of these qualities do you best exhibit? Why?
Attentive. Since coming to the forums I've paid close attention to TWG, whether I played or not (I think I started watching during game 3). When I got into a game (4? I don't know), even though I was killed before anything really took off, I read the first TWG to see if my suspicions had any ground (I was looking for differences between Tass as a human and Tass as a wolf). Since then, I've followed nearly every game (this last one I think was the only one I haven't read -- busy with school and whatnot).
I go into every game (usually just reading along as Guido plays) not trusting anyone. While I see the benefit of AIM alliances, I don't really find them necessary, and try to avoid them. My nerves were definitely shot after surviving Game VII -- I had to watch not only MY every move, but Alain's (as played by me) as well.
3.) Who do you think least deserves to be in this game, and why?
I can't think of a good enough reason to prevent anyone who's been playing (and hasn't already been banned or flamed away for idiocy) from any of the games.
4.) Who do you think most deserves to be in this game, and why?
First night kills. People don't set time aside for this just to get knocked out in the first round.
5.) What was the most briliant TWG strategy move of all time?
Alain has a fantastic strategy for winning as a wolf, but if I told you, things would become very, very difficult for the humans.. or there would be a lot of wolves playing very poorly. I guess if I had to choose any move, I'd have to go with the overall pwnage of the humans in the first game LD hosted -- this was a wolf win from day one.. I guess there really wasn't much strategy to it. Meh. Moving on.

My only exposure to MGS was when I was with the ex, and I rarely paid attention. My bad. o.o;
