TWG Tournament Interest Check

Devonin has kindly offered several things for TWG as ways to potentially boost interest in the game, as well as potentially increase activity and visibility.

Perhaps the most important one in my opinion, is some kind of visual indicator on the front page for when a new game is beginning. I would quite like this, and I see no downside to this at all.

Other potential offers include a TWG tournament on FFR, with credits, or potentially a profile badge as a reward. I am more hesitant about this (really, I am just hesitant about the prizes), and the details certainly have not been hammered out yet, so this is more of an interest check than anything else for whether or not people would want this.

Basically, do you want a FFRTWG tourney (structure yet undecided; would probably be the turbo setup with 2 wolves, seer, and 6 vts), with the possibility of prizes? (Prizes would be in the form of profile badges and/or FFR Credits)

Yes that is why. There's no option to change my vote or to unvote even editing the poll, so all I could do was manually move my vote from the wrong one to the correct one. The display actually still shows my accidental vote italicized as 'the one I voted for' also.

I am incredibly tired right now, I'm surprised I even managed to click a button at all.

Credits are basically just for unlocking the secret and purchased song genres.

Badges go on your profile and commemorate various things. We give them out for every Official Tournament etc.

Weird indeed. But believe me I didn't suggest profile badges and then vote that I didn't like profile badges on purpose :P

Voted yes and yes to both prize idea, but I'm actually really indifferent on if we even have prizes at all.

I don't dislike the idea of them though, and both are valid ideas I think newcomers would dig.

Not sure how TWG can even be structured for a tournament personally, but I'm for trying

Yeah, I am alright with prizes/no prizes. I don't think the prizes will have any real effect on user turnout though. (i.e. players that aren't interested in TWG won't be interested in it just because of credits)

I did that have that massive spreadsheet a few years ago that calculated games and points per game and what not, showed % of wins or games won and the top 9 would go to a finals game. If that were just automated so I didn't have to do it manually that would be really fucking cool. I can link for reference...

badge prize for winning as mafia and winning as town or winning as neutral evil would be pretty neat addition, it could also bring more people to twg from the game.
credit prizes aren't relevant to me and tourney is interesting
