                                                    KitB stands for Knife in the Box. What it means is that, if at the end of a phase, two (or more) players are tied in # of votes, that random.org decides the player who gets lynched. Way back in the olden days of FFR (I mean like 2005), ties were resolved by players picking numbers. The current practice is a lot simpler.

                                                    Must lynch means that each day phase, a lynch must occur. In some games, players may elect to "No lynch" instead of killing someone, for one reason or another.
