    The Thread for the LiveTWG in May 2015

    We're going to try something different. We're going to plan a thing, together!

    The tentative plan is to run a weekend's worth of sessions sometime before the last weekend of May. The poll lists our options for May. Vote for the one which works best for you.

    Feel free to post/PM/IM with any questions or concerns!

    General Rules:

    - Mafia is played in 2 phases: Day & Night
    - Town get one lynch during the day phase and Mafia get one-two kill during the night phase depending on size
    ​- Night phase is represented by every player shutting off their cameras and muting their audio
    - Mafia cannot discuss kills within mafia private chat. Only things that can be said are Names/Yes or No/Confirm.
    - No talking by anyone during the night phase.
    - Roles cannot use their ability on themselves.


    TWG Live Specific Rules:

    - ​No private communication is allowed between players who are dead and those who are still active in the game.
    - ​Roles will not be announced in stream chat until the game is completed. If any information is revealed in stream chat, the person responsible will be banned from these games.
    - If a player disconnects or has to step away, there will be a 5 Minute pause period where the game stops. After the 5 minutes, there will be a 5 minute grace period where the game begins again and if the player does not return, they will be "Mod killed".
    ​- Do not join a game if you know that you cannot dedicate the time to stay and play. On average games last 2-3 hours. Having to leave interrupts the game as well as can change the outcomes. There are exceptions, but this rule should be taken seriously.
    ​- Day time limits should be kept to around 30 minutes. This is also up to the moderator and the pace of the game. There will be hard time caps announced prior to each day. The town can vote for 1 ten minute extension within each game.
    - When a formal is announced, 1 other player must verbally announce that they "Second" the formal. This rule makes it so the mafia cannot waste time or use up all the end of the day to throw the game for town.*

                                  I'd be ready for next weekend, but I'll be gone on Sunday for graduation from about 1-2pm CST. Required for teachers to attend.

                                                          I'll be there for at least one night, not sure which. It's a long weekend so one night I'll play poker, at least one night I'll go to the bar, and one night I'll play werewolf
