Cardflip: Player’s colour is revealed upon death.
Wolf Totem and Seer Totem are not distinguished. We will randomly interchange which Totem is first and second each Phase.
Successful guards are announced to the thread.
Mason Traitor does not need to be killed for Humans to win, only the Wolves.

        1. Wolf Painter – Sends the Host a PM with the name of a Player and a colour during the Night Phase. If that Player is seered or killed that Night Phase or the following Day Phase, that Player will be seered/flipped as that colour.
        2. Totem Wolf – Sends the Host a PM with a message every Phase. At the end of the Phase, that message will be posted publicly in the thread. The message must include “baah” at the beginning and end of every sentence.
        3. Wolf Roleblocker – Sends the Host a PM with the name of a Player during the Night Phase. If that Player uses a power, that power will not take effect (does not effect Totems).
        4. Totem Seer – Sends the Host a PM with the name of a Player during the Night Phase. At the end of the Phase, the Host will PM the Totem Seer that Player’s colour. Sends the Host a PM with a message every Phase. At the end of the Phase, that message will be posted publicly in the thread. The message must include “baah” at the beginning and end of every sentence.
        5. Guardian – Sends the Host a PM with the name of a Player during the Night Phase. If that Player is targeted to be wolfed, he/she will survive instead. Cannot guard self.
        6. Medium – Sends the Host a PM with the name of a dead Player during the Night Phase. That Player is free to speak during the subsequent Day Phase. The Player’s vote, however, will not count for anything but frivolous purposes.
        7. Mason – Knows the Mason and Mason Traitor, but not which is which.
        8. Mason - Knows the Mason and Mason Traitor, but not which is which.
        9. Mason Traitor - Knows the Masons. Counts as a Human, but wins if the Wolves win and loses if the Humans win. Doesn't know the other Wolves.
        10. Human

An argument that I will never concede. Functions that affect the game that heavily should be carried out by a player, aka the psychic.

I know I'm in the minority on this though.

I like no cardflipping games too. Cardflipping is a crutch.

But under normal conditions with regular seer power I will definitely run the thread into the ground and lead the village on a goose chase with one of my wolves counterclaiming seer (or likely claiming seer first to get rid of the problem head on.)

If you take out cardflips as a villager I will literally never ever be convinced someone is village and I will just tunnel people entirely at random all game.

My point is it always favors wolves unless you just throw OP shit that has nothing to do with solving games in, in which case it's battle of the power roles and not TWG.

wild goose chases are exactly why games without cardflipping are fun to me.

idk, no cardflipping is extremely frustrating to me personally, since there's no way for you to validate any claims ever

you have a bunch of people with "strong convictions" just shouting at each other, and there's no way to really GET anywhere with reasoning besides piecing together shitty observations

Seer psychic guardian is not that significant of a change from seer + cardflips in terms of it's ability to incriminate and clear, but it does give wolves a significan advantage if they get lucky hitting a psychic early as well as putting most of the onus of winning the game on 3/13 members of the team instead of the whole team

Seer guardian MW has always been a viable no cardflip game it just takes the fun out of it for most of the town.

The crutch argument is stupid it's not a crutch for play the mechanic makes it a different game. It's a question of how many people get to have information and does that make the game better for more people. Cardflips have never stopped me from winning when I'm woofing.
