DDR to ITG community pack

Before anyone says anything, yes this has been done before. However, that was made mainly by one person and the pack is now basically lost since there are no downloads for it anywhere.

So, cut to the chase, the idea is simple. Make ITG-style challenge steps for DDR songs. Criteria for this pack is rather low, as my skills as a stepper are already pretty low.

Criteria -

-Make the file paddable (possibly for r21)
-Unless it's a gimmick where it seriously works, make sure the file is as on-sync as possible.
-If more then one file for a song is made, then most likely only one will make it into the pack. Who will decide that, hopefully some sort of vote.
-If you do Xepher, Fascination Maxx, or some other already over-simmed song, then it better be damn good.

I have a chart for Ecstasy -midnight blue- mix [SX: 10]. It's a bit old and needs a bit of revising to be up to my high standards, but I'll touch it up and send it over.

For syncing to r21 and r23, if your simfile is already synced and you didn't read mute's guide, increase your offset by 0.012 milliseconds.

For syncing to r21 and r23, if your simfile is already synced and you didn't read mute's guide, increase your offset by 0.012 milliseconds.

Mute's guide holds irrelevant to me as I'm already doing waveform syncing using DDream. I sync first in DDream using a single BPM save, and then apply the 0.012 in SM, where I have a global offset to account for this. Any error from there on out is hardware issues on machines/computers that I am not responsible for.

I would honestly say the only DDR songs worth converting are pre-Supernova songs. Every game after that is far too Americanized I think.

I agree for the most part, but I think that at least a few songs have some potential. A few examples would be Innocence of Silence, Freeway Shuffle, Electrified, or basically any of the planet songs. Your stance stands especially true for X and beyond, though.

I was going to mention DDream, but that's unnecessary because anyone who used it knows how to sync already and has probably known the -0.012 ms global offset anyway.

I might, there's a few DDR charts I really wanted to rechart myself, but releasing singles won't ever look too good since there's always 132456345323 files for them

I really can't critique in these files since I barely have a chance to play pad but I can say something about them.

Air - Pretty repetitive. A lot of trills here and there along with running men. Doesn't seem comfortable.

For the record, I have not forgotten about this project. I've been working on quite a few charts in the meanwhile.

I'm still hoping to see SOME sort of contribution from other users, as I'm not very confident in my stepping skills, but this will get done eventually!
