Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
gotcha. I've not made one solo chart yet, so I don't plan to anytime soon. I actually plan to experiment with solo index when I have the time. It'll be a while before I start experimenting with releases.
Sending in my file for Get Up by Korn. Hope you like it enough to accept it. =]
Yes, it is finished, no, I'd rather not collab on it. If there is something wrong with it, let me know and I will fix it and resend.
Edit: If it's a chart deadline and not a time deadline I think I am going to go ahead and try to get Code Name Red or Euphoria by Dr. Ozi (silentoath) stepped. Not sure which one I will do yet, but it won't be as fancy and bpm gimmicked as the Get Up file (which I must say I am quite proud of).
get up has lots of potential, but the xmods need a complete overhaul. I'll play through it again later though.
Not being critical of you at all, but remember to go easy on the new simfile artists. I would expect a lot from the regulars, but go easier on the not so well known simfile artists.
I saw a flyer on a bulletin board at school asking for high-functioning aspergers/autism people to participate in some kind of experiment, and all I could think was, that sounds like a great place to meet girls.

ctrl+r isn't good at all, even for a super seasoned simfile artist

I agree, it was more of a general statement. I probably shouldn't have added the quote, it was there to show it was directed at Kommisar.
But yes, in general, go a little easy. You might get a lot more simfiles in the pack, and different reviews, for better or worse. It's ok to experiment, with the community starting to get motivated, different might be good.
What exactly was the major problem with the x-mods? I felt they were pretty good. But obviously you can tell better than I can. More explanation?
ps, if you needed the baseline bpm to set an x-mod for, 140 is the base. Hence 70, 35, 280, 560, and 1120. The 2240 is pretty much a joke, where it is located doesn't impact the difficulty of the file at all. Just for looks and to kind of go with that part of the song.
And yeah, this is like my third simfile that I have actually finished and am somewhat proud of, so I don't have a ton of experience. I've made a few files, but technicalities and the like are still beyond me somewhat.
ps, if anyone wants to see the file it's on my profile. No download because I want it in this pack, but yeh.

I did. If I based my opinion on sync and sync alone, then there's nothing wrong with it at all that I see. It's on beat. Everything else, such as the speed and and slow down of the Xmods, the patterns, etc. are all preference and taste. I personally liked it. Of course, according to my taste I wouldn't rate it so highly. But that's just opinion. Basic requirements such as being synced are matched.
the xmods were too sudden/random and there were many other spots that would've been better for xmod use. too many spots to name, but it comes with practice.
