Guys, update on the bgvideo stuff.

So I tried it out on a hacked ITG2 machine (OpenITG with ITG3 theme), and I've confirmed that it DOESN'T WORK on them. It only appears to work on the default ITG2 themes atm.

It should work if the songs are hacked onto the machine. I know that the scripts don't work when playing the songs through a USB flash drive.

yeah that's what I meant through the USB flash drive. I still haven't tested the BG graphics thing on an ITG2 unhacked machine yet, only the bgvideo changes.

If the songs are physically put onto the machine, it will work. OITG isn't necessary for it.

Yes I know but I'm mostly speaking for USB songs and not songs hacked INTO the game

the bg changes written in the .sm work for itg2 on r23/24, but only using the default bg's

But yeah, I noticed that last time when I tested the bgvideo changes on the r21, never had the actual graphics though x.x

nah they did add a "ddr nl pack" which has nothing harder than an 8 in itg standards and a buncha ddr charts

so I'm taking it they only played ddr files that didn't need the patch

lol DDR. Hey, I like DDR charts though, since to me they have their own charm.

I dunno if I'll send in more files I mean, max limit is 12 and I already got two files accepted.
