official statement:



after discussions with kil, we decided to merge xoon 5 and dark chancellor pack 2. this move will help complete the pack with the same quality submissions. a name change is not expected to happen as it will remain xoon 5. any unjudged submissions to dcp2 will be forwarded to xoon 5 for judgment, as well as the dcp2 accepted files.

reviews (extra lazy edition)

infinity 301- yes. some freezes are too long though (the 8th freezes make that one part hard to read). nice quad theory at the end.

magical higan tour 2009- not bad at all. patterns seem a tad random at times but it's pretty well made. could see a bit of replay value in this. maybe

my future day- pretty much awesome.

opening stage zero- better than the other file but some parts of it are sort of sloppy (freezes are once again a tad too long ya gotta work on that) and there are a few misrhythms. a bit of work would make this great. fix this

pure ruby vninjaburrow- quit out when I saw how you layered the strings. sort of technically okay but wow Cyrenic's is a lot better than this.

try to star- surprisingly I really really like this file. not much to say. good mines for the most part. a few parts could flow better (ugh this kind of feels like steel world at parts)

(Gundam-Dude) @ Love Ward- awesome concept, mediocre execution. very cute file. you use too many random color notes, dude. I don't like how you used freezes to represent strings, that reeks of mediocrity. 3/10

(N.T.M.) 30 seconds of drum soloing - sync is awesome, flow is awesome, and patterns are average. since you didn't use a single double freeze, this file is bad. 3/10

(Kommisar) ANGRYGERMANKIDANIZER- clean and wellmade but you didn't use a single 192nd freeze in this. what is wrong with you 3/10

(moches) kors k file- mediocre song but steps are decent. but the last note in this should be a quad. that's why I'm rejecting this. 3/10

(random guy) Battle With Siren- very very well-made but since you didn't layer everything except for the solo with mines it's not as good as Amy's 3/10

(Kil) Operation Evolution- bad song and file is horrible but **** it it's Kil 10/10
