Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
Hence my "I'm gonna try to bring what I learned from the tournament to this as well as reading most other posts and stargroups thread." I don't want it to, so I'm gonna try.
BASS GOES ON COLUMN 1
SNARE GOES ON COLUMN 6
EVERYTHING ELSE GOES IN THE MIDDLE
there's ur solo theory
Aww thnap, sounds like a plan, then. ~.~ I guess I SHOULD start smaller, then. D= Crazy how my first song is a ~3:30 song, but it's ZUN, so it's an exception. <33 Even tho the way I have it stepped for Standard is nothing BUT the snare and Cymbols with some of the bass. Yumm3h. I'm happy with them, tho. Classic is looking forward to it, so I need to finish it. xDD
I guess I'll wait to step Hellion Sound's Clash on the Bridge, then. xDD I should probably do solo steps to the songs that I was SUPPOSED to send into the Touhou Pad Pack, but never did. xD Crazy 2:10 limit to songs. *flails arms*
Nope. It's a legitimate technique to use, and when executed properly it's great. Obviously not every single file should make use of it (I'm avoiding it like the plague atm), but sometimes a song just calls for it and sometimes it just works with someone's style.
What I can argue however, is people sucking at it from the beginning. It took me like 3 weeks to get used to bass on 1 (which admittedly, has made my ring trilling much faster). It's come to be one of my favourite gimmicks though. I often find myself tapping a trill on my right hand and tapping 1/4s with my left ring on a table when I'm bored.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)
