    If it's a Linkin Park song, you'll have to start by deleting the song file. After that the game will tell you what to do.
    I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

      wait, I have to delete it? That makes no sense, I meant the song is in no way shape or form related to SM or any other DDR simulator for that matter and I want to make it into a stepfile.

          Ok, first things you have to do is the find the gap and the BPM (beats per minute).. the gap doesn't matter, any random number will do. But to find the BPM, you have to play the song.. As soon as it starts stand up sit down 3 times and then stand back up.. Spin in circles and clap as fast as you can until the song ends. Multiple the Times Clapped by Times Spun.. and you've got your BPM.. then all you have to do is get some sweet Autogen steps..

            Do what Kenzya says. This will make your stepfile better than 99% of Linkin Park sims.

                  I'm still trying to MAKE the thing, you know, actually put it on there so I can make the stepfile, I have problems with the beat or speed, it's actually getting the song to do what I need it to is the problem. I just can't get the song so I can put the series of arrows on for the stepfile, this is what I need help with!

                    Remove ['s and ]'s

                    #TITLE:[name of song];
                    #ARTIST:[author of song];
                    #BPM:[bpm of song, is this what you are having trouble finding?];
                    #GAP:0[for now, change it later];
                    #SAMPLESTART:40.786;
                    #SAMPLELENGTH:12.000;
                    #SINGLE:MANIAC:10:

                    Template.

                      BPM: click any button (preferrably space) on the beat for 6 seconds. Count the times you hit the space bar and times that by 9.

                              Make sure not to touch the gap! This will screw up the whole thing!
