Missing a file to play stepmania.

So lately my computer's been crashing about 12 times/day. I figured some of the problem is attributable to having too much **** on it. So I spent an hour deleting stuff and apparently I deleted a file required to run SM.

I went into themes and deleted a folder named "default". I assumed it was just the default theme.

But when I tried to run SM, after it loaded all the songs it said this "'_missing' isn't present in 'Themes/default/BGAnimations'"

So what file am I missing and would somebody pleeeezzz upload it to filefront or something for me to redownload? I'd really really appreciate it.

Anyways I FINALLY got SM back after I uninstalled and reinstalled it. What a major pain in the ass for such a seemingly small mistake.

But now there's a new problem: How do I swap out those annoying default colored arrows for standard stuff where 4ths = red, 8ths = blue, etc.

deleting the default theme is probably the stupidest thing you could do =/

lol Put delicately, thank you. I don't know **** about computers. That was in the folders where the themes were kept. Since I didn't use the default theme any more I assumed it was useless.

Why would you go into the Stepmania folder and delete random stuff.

I spent an hour going through my computer deleting as much stuff that I thought was unnecessary as possible. My computer was dying lol. I had to free up space.

change the noteskin to note



have you tried defragging your computer? it takes an assload of time but worth it

1.) How do I do that? I do it in SM I assume? I'll check it out.

2.) WTF is that? lol Remember that computer terms are foreign to me .

open up stepmania>go to the select song screen>pick any song and press enter twice to go to the song optino screen>select noteskin note



to defrag go to my computer>right click the hard drive you want to defrag> right click then properties> defragmentation and follow instructions
