    Editing Dew's Shind Bad

    With all the experience I got out of trying to step the 3rd gen Pokemon Champion battle music (Kommi rejected it, though...), I thought I'd tackle something with decent streams. As it so happens, I DL'ed all the HSMPs I could find for sh*ts and giggles back when I started playing SM, and among the 4th one of the 7 is the full version of Shind Bad (the 4 minute one).

    Problem is, it's already been stepped by Dew, and this is both good and bad: Good because I have everything I need in the MP3, BN and BG and I'm planning Beginner and Light steps so nobody gets confused, and bad because I can't make it into its own song folder (can't copy the MP3, among other things).

    So...any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

                          make folder

                          name it something relevant (such as Shind Bad)

                          click on mp3

                          ctrl + c

                          go into folder

                          ctrl + v



                          then you step said file. p. easy rite

                                  also:

                                  -open up the .sm
                                  -copy all the header information (everything down to the actual stepchart information) into a new notepad/whatever window, save it as a .sm in the new folder

                                  I dunno why you'd want to step the full version of shind bad as opposed to pfx's cut, though, it just repeats itself over and over

                                          Point made. I've only stepped one song so far, and it wasn't good enough to make it into Kommi's Pokemon pack 3.

                                          Still, the info on copying header information will be very helpful. At the least, it'll help me not get the bpm and stuff wrong again.
