I made my first simfiles for stepmania so check them out
they're a bit slow so you'll have to use 8x or 4x to really enjoy them since i dont know how to increase BPM so if anyone knows tell me.Also please tell me how to upload songs

Use F7/F8 to change BPM

For uploading goto the Simfile Database, and the rest should be obvious.

How are we supposed to criticise your simfile if it's not at public reach? If you don't have the right BPM, well... you should fix that first before uploading it. To upload a simfile to the FFR database, click this link.

why don't you POST THE LINK TO THE SIMFILE INSTEAD OF EXPECTING US TO GO TO YOUR PROFILE TO FIND THE LINK THERE. no one will care enough to actually take the time to go to your profile if we've never heard of you

But yeah like EA said, don't constantly makes threads that ask one question each. Just make one thread and post all the questions there. Or, find someone who knows what they are talking about (this may require lurking) and ask them on their profile.

why would you even start adding steps if you don't have the correct beat, though?

To find the average BPM use this program, it finds automatically all bpms on a directory of your choice.

imo the ducky thread is more advanced stepfile theory

sounds like this guy barely knows how to do anyhing, so one of the starting guides might be better

Im just new and im just excited about making stepmania songs, so please dont snap at me. Besides, i tried to upload them just now and i couldnt.I put them in a smzip file and it didnt. How do i fix this?

Sorry bout asking ,but how else am i supposed to learn?

I was excited about making my first stepchart too but no so excited I didn't even stop to figure out how to change the bpm

Well he obviously just picked songs with a BPM of 60 as that's default .
