If you're going to take any criticism you get and shove it up your ass then you shouldn't make files, or at least not release them.

I just thought those trills might be really fast.

First jack isn't there.
Maybe would be nice if you stepped those three arrow coupling 8th notes as jumps to put emphasis.
You should step drums on m8. Wouldn't make it complicated; makes it feel a little better.
I say step quarter notes on m12 for drums. Nothing too much, but might make it feel less empty.
I think jacks on m14 are actually 32nds but that would be dumb; maybe step them as rolls or trills? dunno, but technically they aren't 16ths.
Step those 16th drums on m15/16, it would be cooler.
m17 streams are 24ths, or maybe 32nds. Definitely not 16ths.
I'm pretty sure m20 trill isn't accurate.
And maybe m24 is wrong too.
There should probably be two jumps on m26 for emphasis.
When the song speeds up at m38 I think you don't have to follow vocals because it would be overlayered, the file doesn't feel empty, so yeah keep it the way it is...lol.
If at m44 you are following drums, should be constant 16th stream, with no stops.
IMO step drums at m52 and m53.
For emphasis you should put jumps at every 4th note on m62 and m63. Drums are hard there so yeah.
IMO step drum stream at m68.
IMO m88-m92 is really really fun so nice job.
m101 is 24ths, not 16ths.
Step drums at m106.
m110 should have a jump for emphasis AND consistency (you put jumps at every other drums spot, so why not here).
m111 jacks aren't correct.
Step drums at m126.
Didn't play rest because song seemed repetitive and long.
Overall, I liked this file most out of the three.

Even if I liked the file, I will probably only list the bad things, because why list the good things if they have nothing to fix?

Glad you said that at the end cuz I was beginning to think you thought it was terrible.

This was my first DF file so when I was revising for the pack I changes a ton, but I wouldn't be surprised if I missed a few things. I'd need to look into the file to see what parts you're referencing. I few things though. If you were referring to any of those 24th trills near the intro they're all correct. Also that first jack DOES exist, but it's hard to hear. I reviewed exactly that a few times. I know manipulating the song speed may distort sounds, but I eventually found an optimal speed and it was clearly present IMO.

I'll have to review the other things you mentioned. Do you think it'd be a good idea to revise such things that you've listed and resubmit the pack? I know I caught most things when I revised it, but it's just so damn long.

What'd you think of HoOT overall as a file?

I thought it wasn't bad.

And you missed sounds that could be stepped.
Obviously, this is all my opinion.
But in a way, it's also universal that you should step more than one sound.

I kept going back and forth with layering in parts. Like I'd do it then I'd think it looks too sloppy, so I'd eliminate it at parts. Regarding the repetition: do you think there was anything I could've done to combat it, or did it just go with the song choice?

True. Most DF songs could be cut right after the main solo actually. There are a couple interesting parts towards the end but it's generally just a repeat.

Why does every one fight over these songsthey rock AFFF is fine the way it is I prefer to step guitars and pianos than voclas.voclas are just for people who cant hear songs right and try to de complicate their lives.I consider this pack waay better than the CMDKDF pack cuz from what ive seen these artists fixed their sims trillions of times to get it right unlike the CMDKDF pack they just chose any lame sim and put it there.EX-Valley of the Damned DEMO,Cry for Eternity,My Spirit Will Go On and Once in a Lifetime.Now those really sucked I could do way better songes than those pieces of **** everyone calls "good simfiles"
