i downloaded your first pack i liked it so im looking forward to this one, but did u know that the carmelldansen avi u had for carmelldansen, gets very very hypnotic after 2 mins o.o

Erm... I've done some things for OD, but I don't see how that's relevant to my own packs. This project is being completed independent of OD, and I don't really see anything wrong with that.

Mainly because you don't get much response here. You are better off showing these in OD than in FFR, is what I am saying.

You seem to have this strange thought that marketing these in OD would preclude me from marketing them here.

If by "response" you meant replies in this thread, that's pretty much irrelevant to me - if people are reading this post then that implies that some subset of those people are downloading the files, and that's enough. On that note, considering you actually took the time to write me a message, which pretty much implies that you took the time to read this post, it's a bit ludicrous that you're saying that I'm not getting a response here. Ironically, you negated your own statement just by virtue of making it. Don't really see that very often anymore...

In any case, thanks for the suggestion, but I'm fine doing what I'm doing. And even if I don't get a good response here (which I'm not saying I won't), remember that diversification of marketing is never a bad thing.

There's something to be said about consistency. In a sense, they DO all need anime faces on the banner - you might look at each individual banner and scoff and write it off as boring, but as a whole it works much better if there's some recognizeable similarities between the banners. Call it a motif if you want. In reality, I'm writing each individual file while thinking about how that file fits in with the whole, rather than purely focusing on that file. Ironically, the individual files tend to turn out better when I adopt that frame of mind.

I guess ultimately, it's just a matter of taste.
