the idea of sharing a long ass marathon file with some of the guys in that list gives me the creeps. furthermore, christmas is the worst holyday ever aside with easter and thanksgiving day. so yeh, not participating sorry huni

I would love to make pad steps for one of these if a spot is open. I would also love to try to make keyboard steps, but I know they would turn out like crap so I won't even bother volunteering myself for that. But yeah, I can pull off some pad steps if you need 'em.

Guys, Rebirth said that if you want to step something for this you have to have good experience in submitting files for FFR.

Even then, there are already 20 people. Most likely they'll all step it, so there won't be any spot left. Let's just say in the rare case someone does drop out, there are already people who will fill it, like behanjc.

So stop requesting you want to step something, it probably won't happen.

Let Rebirth make his own decisions. If the oppurtunity does arise where there's an open spot, there's already plenty of people in this thread to chose from. I wouldn't say that its a bad thing. I wasn't around when the thread was first made (I don't come here very often anymore), and so now that I'm here I'm sure as heck gonna put my name in. Of course, after listening to the music I'm not so sure. There were good parts in the songs I listened to, but half of the song was extremely generic (which seems to be the case with most "speed" music).

But suggestion time: Have you thought about opening up submissions for other Christmas songs for when you do single releases? If you do take other songs like that I'll submit some, if not I guess I'll just make my own mini pack. I understand completely why you wouldn't take other songs for the single release pack, but its always an option.

Rebirth and I had a long discussion about this pack over AIM. I think I have a good idea what I'm talking about and what Rebirth would probably want. Nice try though. Yes, the music is quite generic, I'm just in it for the fame.

I assume you mean submit other Christmas songs to this group of stepfiles during single releases. No, because then there wouldn't be consistency. You can't have all songs from a certain album and suddenly throw in an unrelated random file, even if it's also Christmas.

Sigh, I wonder how many more arguments I have to make.

Looking forward to this. Even though my attention span is all of 15 minutes, I will most certainly be downloading this marathon MONSTER, and finishing it. Then FC, then 100:1 Perfect to Good ratio. =)

(My P-G ratio right now ranges from 60:1 to 90:1.)
