I'm having some computer failures on the computer where all my work was. I doubt that I'll be able to get it back. Luckily, its only about an hour of work that I can reproduce in about 30mins.

Do any of you guys have experience with pad files? I could help out on any song that is stepped by only a kb simfile author and if that author is not comfortable making pad files... If that's ok?

i may hit you up on the pad file too, i only play double pad on the itg machine at the arcade. i do it more for show and dance. so i dont really know what makes a pad file fun and stuff.

No I don't believe there are any jacks, and of course it's FC'able. It's just that my style will be very different from what everyone else is doing, so it might catch you off guard, causing you to miss notes.

I find it very unlikely someone will FC it their first try, but it's not impossible at all.

I've made a couple of pad charts but I've never released them.

I, for one, know how to make pad charts very well. Making pad charts is way easier then keyboard, because you don't have to even think about layering, pitch, all that crap. Heck, you don't even need to follow the song perfectly, as long as it flows. Though, creating a well flowing pad chart can be difficult sometimes, so I just prefer to follow the song.

You can ask me about pad charts too TK pav. I used to exclusively make pad files (and now I do both).
