You're saying "His criticism wasn't so great given his "I hated this"'s and "This is bullcrap"'s, but we should be thankful he took the time to give his input in the first place," right?

Personally I think that's crap. When you receive a paper back after a respected teacher/professor has graded it for feedback, they aren't going to just mark it up with "This sucks" or "This is absolute bull****". Who wants to settle for that? No progress.

Try having your files cretiqued by Aperson, Tear, Malice, HAYDEN, you probably wouldnt ever want to make simfiles again. You really need to stop being so sensitive, if he wanted to be an asshole theres TONS of worse things he could have said. DS is one of the most respected simfile artists left. He wasnt giving you an in depth cretiquing of the files, he was mainly giving his first opinions on the files, and some extra insight on files that he thought were somewhat close to being good.

Trying to make an undercover personal attack on him isnt going to take our attention away from the issue at hand. You can be mad all you want, but the truth is 90% of the sm community is going to agree with him (wether u beleive and accept it or not).

You're part of the reason why me and b00mba thinks the SM community is **** dumbass. Face it, there aren't any good stepfile artists at all anymore because they like to overlayer as ****. It used to be a lot of fun, but now it is all about having a lot of hard **** in simfiles. Something to be proud of =D.

Yeah wow everyone in this thread is acting like a ****** because of my review. Get the **** over it, it's a game and it's not like your life career depends on it.

Seriously, I've been there done that. I've had my first files in the past being referred to as garbage, trash, worthless, random, et cetera et cetera. I was determined to get better at it though which is how I went from Simple and Clean DNB Mix to Tetrinet, then Ganon Slayer, then SK, Spores, Solo files, and so on and so forth. People called my files ****ty, I asked why.

If you want to know why I think your file is ****ty, ask me for an essay on it. I'm not going to spend more than an hour like Aperson on reviewing an entire pack that is full of so much garbage- It would literally take me like a week. A week I can't afford on a hobby like this, thanks to being a full time college student and being a full time computer technician. It's just not worth it.

TheChild- I didn't play Shlagwerk because the song choice is so poor and TaQky, I've been there and done that. I've seen so many files of that, most of them most likely better than yours. Sorry for creating that assumption, but, I've never seen or heard of any of your files before so I can't really be blamed for that. You would have recieved the same critique if you stepped a song by Kelly Clarkson.

This analogy doesn't make the least bit of sense because I'm neither a stepmania professor nor am I getting paid to review this ****. I'm posting my opinions on a forum, whatever comments I can, and errors in a brief manner so the simfile creator can get a general idea of what was wrong with the file. Sorry for not writing essays on why "Such and Such Simfile Sucks," but at least you can get a general idea on why it does. If I say it sucks, then well... It probably sucks. If you want to really really know why, then send me a message or something and if I care enough, I just might QC it for you and tell you what you can improve on next time. Trust me, I'm no Aperson but I've got enough credibility as a sim author to be able to help you guys out.
