Cornandbeans - {Lazy Summer Days} (My first sim)

    http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...p?songid=18117

Feel free to play, download, listen, rate, comment etc. If your a decent step artist or player i would gladly appreciate it if you could suggest a few changes in the steps for me since this is my first file i have very little experience. I can always delete the old file and resubmit it with better steps or simply make a v2. When i get better i play on making an edit with hands thrown in.

    Heavy: 8
    Oni: 10
    BPM: 165

Credit goes to koty for BG and BN and Jason for test play and suggestions.

    Thanks in advanced,

    Will

At the start I couldn't hear anything that the taps were going to (the ones that are on every 2 beats). That little 32nd run is retarded, I was like "lol AAAA owai dere wuz a 32nd starecase." The minijack stepjumps are also kinda dumb, for a KB file you want to avoid placing unnecessary minijacks (for pad files that's fine but KB it's stupid).

Other than those issues, the file was pretty enjoyable; it probably wasn't the best song choice (8th jumps get boring after a while), but for a first file it wasn't bad at all. Your patterns need work (they really had no bearing with what was going on in the music), you should try being more pitch relevant and less random. Your rhythms (other than that 32nd thing that I didn't hear any sound go to) were spot on, and the file was synced pretty well.

Yeah you're right, its a good song but not the best song choice to step. I now realize this becuse ALOT of the music is feint, there actually was a part of the music with 32nds but like i mentioned ... it was feint. Yeah I was thinking about not having those minijacks but then i thought it would increase its difficulty a bit more (which the file DESAPERATLY needed) but ill remember to avoid minijacks next time. I will agree with you partially on my patterns being bad: i think most of my patterns were DECENT but the 8th jumps i actually think i did a pretty good job on but idk thats just me. Thanks a ton for all the advice ^_-

Song sounds pretty great ... I haven't downloaded it, but I can see why it'd be a little repetitive.

Yeah its a pretty good song. Next time I'll look in deeper for songs that would make better simfiles.
