Well, I've been kind of shadowy in this community, but I've been around a while. I started to step some of my own files, but did not find much liking for it really. I had some neat ideas for some songs if anyone would like to do them or at least look into them.
One that I started is called Moby Dick (or drum madness, I've heard different names), an old drum solo. This is a great song because of the perfect rhythm, but pretty chaotic beats in some of the solo sections. There are very quick rolls, with heavier beats displaced in the background. I don't have the ear for stepping this song, but there are some great variating rhythms from basic 16th's to really weird ones (but all on rhythms!) If any stepfile artists would like the challenge of doing this, I think it would make a great addition in the variety of music if it was done well. This is one I really wish I had the talent and time for, but alas, I do not.
The second was a section of a song called In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida. I started stepping only the solo in the middle as it is the neatest part of the song. Wouldn't be too complex, but I have imagined some pretty cool jumpstreams for it.
These are just some ideas which if I had the talent I would probably do myself. Anyhow, if any of you need access to these songs I could get them to you, since they are not exactly common.
