    I'm making a sim

I'm making a sim that I am going to eventually send in to Tass. From what I heard, he said to give 2 seconds of free space in the measures before adding arrows. I was wondering what he meant by this. Does he not want the music playing either? Can the music play?

And if the music doesn't play during this blank 2 seconds, then how can I have the music start 2 seconds later?

Tell me if I'm getting all of this wrong.

    Thanks,

    Seth

    Ok thank you

o0 And I see you're a Simfile Author. Very good.

Also, how do I put in a background/Banner in my simfile?

What i do is put the pic in the folder than change the name for example: just lets say ur making a pokemon song i would put pokemon_Background or for the banner i would put Pokemon_banner. You could do it both ways, but i was just saying the way i did it.

Thanks. Also, I need to know how to make the difficulty more than one foot.

I can't get the background to change.

For changing the difficulty, go into the SM editor, and press esc. Press enter on the top option. Then go down to difficulty, and press left or right. Right increases, left decreases.

Once you make the change to the .sm file via Notepad, remember to reload the song from disk (should be in the Esc menu).

Difficulty can also be changed via Notepad.
