    Artist name corrections for VGMP2

Just the ones I know or care to look up.

Armored Armadillo - Setsuo Yamamoto, Makoto Tomozawa, Yuki Iwai, Yuko Takehara, Toshihiko Horiyama

    Chill - Koji Kondo

Dancing the Takage - Yasunori Mitsuda

    Fighting Spirits - Noriyuki Iwadare

Garden - Kazuki Muraoka, Kazuhiko Uehara, Harumi Ueko, Yukie Morimoto (Konami Kukeiha Club works too)

    Hydrocity Zone - Masato Nakamura

Machine Mansion - Most likely Jun Ishikawa

    Marble Zone - Masato Nakamura

Oil Ocean Zone - Masato Nakamura

The rest should be looked up easily enough. I don't care to sort through NSF sets though.

You mean the "classic" Sonic songs, right? Like everything before Sonic Adventure? Also, I don't think Sonic CD was Nakamura, but whatever.

Ramengan: Yes. There aren't any Sonic CD or Sonic Adventure+ songs in the pack.

The people who made these files apparently didn't have enough pride in their work to bother getting correct artist titles, which takes all of 5 minutes at the very most.

It's doing a disservice to the songs to misrepresent them as such.

True. I guess it doesn't really matter, then.

It does a disservice to the pack, too. The VGMP2 is too good to deserve laziness.

I'm pretty sure (at least for the original VGMP) that Macgravel said if you couldn't easily find the artist of the song, you could just use the name of whoever developed the game. I know it's not the best way to do it, but I think that's where the mindset originated. I know people wouldn't mind going out and finding the artists if they really thought they should.

And it's probably doing a disservice to the songs to distribute them publicly, but hey, what the hell. We do it.
