well.....i halfed the bpm

so 8ths are 16ths

and 32nds would be like using 16ths.

i didn't like playing it at 190 bpm....i thought it was insane on 3x and kinda slow on 2x....yea. so i halfed the bpm cause it played very nicely on 5x.

Offsync means the arrows are just that. Offsync. They don't register right. You'll be getting anywhere from mass perfects to mass boos(boos only if it's HORRIBLY offsync) depending on how offsync it is. You should be getting mass marvelous. To fix offsyncing if a song goes offsync, this usually requires a bpm change, or a stop.

Offbeat means it has yellow arrow syndrome/orange arrow syndrome. This is 50% of the time caused by someone using 0 gap on a song, and the other 50% of the time caused by the song going offbeat. If the song goes offbeat, then this usually requires a stop to fix, or maybe a bpm change.

Sometimes I accidently mix up the two, but oh well.

Try the other way around. Offbeat means the arrows AREN'T ON THE BEAT. Hence the term, dumbass. Offsync means that the sync'ing (aka BPM and gap) is off, therefore the file has 12th/16th/24th/32nd notes where it should be fourth and eighth notes.

If the file has YAS/OAS, then it's not on the beat. This should be common sense, but then again, for you, I don't know.

Offsync means the BPM or gap is off so that the arrows don't match up with the music. You're talking about offbeat, which I explained earlier.

Honestly, I make simfiles, I'm WAY more into the scene than you are.
