    Re: Keyboard Collaboration III

As I said before the review, I rated on how I felt playing it for the first time. If it's retardedly hard, but I still enjoy the way it's been made, I grade accordingly, but if it's hard PLUS boring, then I couldn't care less and thus grade low... A technical masterpiece that is boring to play is ultimatly a boring file IMHO

Oh, and I don't think I've played Biaxident, so can't say much about it

edit: @xExigex - Yup, I'm a "******y indexer", but I'm not going to change that unless I feel like it, and I don't feel much like it atm

                Re: Keyboard Collaboration III

I have downloaded this pack to see HOW MUCH the level raised, and I realized that it raised a lot. I tried all sims and i want to tell you MY impressions. I will not judge strictly like aperson, and maybe I am not the right person to make ratings because i don't have decent files released, but however i will try to say what I felt playing this.

be quiet (ninshikou): basically well done, i think you don't take adventage of some sounds, and also some freezes were unjustified by the rithym. awesome using of patterns. 7,8/10

beautiful sinergy (izzy): i think some parts were done without following the sound in the best way. it is very fluid, and using of patterns is good. awesome using of freezes. 6,7/10

can't compete (exige): some parts were genious, some others were boring if not non-matching sounds. the initial part was better made in your old can't compete, excluding a sound that called for a freeze. jumps putted on bass beats togheter torrents matching the main sound. but i can say this is not the best that can be done. using of patterns was almost perfect, however. 8,2/10

code red (exige): differently to aperson, i think that there are some songs that need to be simmed on the immaginary rithym that you hear in your head. this is one of them. syncing this sim only on the real notes we will have a boring and dull song. in this way sounds were followed and this is a lot more interesting. i found it excellent. but some arrows sounds strangely offbeat in my opinion. 7,0/10

doll's wish (dethev): i don't liked it too much. you didn't take advantage of the fast (piano?) sounds and you putted some really stupid steps. maybe it is original, and surely they followed sounds, but i don't think it was a good idea. and freezes in the final part... what sound they pretend to follow? but finally this is not a bad file, excluding these parts that was pretty good. 6,5/10

don't say anything (zanthro): nothing to say bout that, only that (like aperson said) a random abstract graphic don't match the music AT ALL. steps were really original, they were almost perfectly synced with each sound, and also perfectly done bpm changes raise the quality of this sim. i noticed in particular the part where piano notes were inserted between freezes. EXCELLENTLY done. 9,8/10

eclipse-luna- (danceguy117): heavy step were surely original but they don't match well the sounds, however it seems you put your attention mainly on oni steps. oni were great and you synced each sound in a wonderful way. nothing else to say bout these steps. the song was hard to sim cause there were a lot of sounds toghether, so this is a really good sim. heavy 5,5/10 oni 8,3/10

empathy (tear): i think that this is quite better than exige's, excluding the holds that were COMLETELY wrong. i don't know why you followed randomly "voices" and "woooong" (i can't explain better what sound it is, sorry for my ignorance). you also didn't tke advantage of rolls, differntly from exige. this is quite easier. nice but not too much. 7,6/10

ernst (ninshikou): well, sync and patterns using was awesome, nothing to say about that. this is a very good sim imho. 8,0/10

exotic ethnic (the rai rai): I always liked your way of interpretating sounds, very personal and original. this is a very very good keyboard sim and also 16ths were really awesome. differently to aperson I think this is really amazing. 8,8/10

extork (indezera): this file surprised me a lot when i first try it. syncing the vocals between holds is really awesome. this has almost no faults, and is pretty original. very good work. maybe boring in few parts but oh well. 8,5/10

final count down (danceguy117): i hate this song from the first time i heard it, but the simfile that you realized starting from this **** is actually great, excluding a part were patterns are confusing. but maybe it is only an impression. 7,7/10

fun fun paraoh (zaghurim): a LOT better than reach's, this is simply perfect excluding the initial steps, i don't understood why you putted them in taht way, they appear to me randomly created (???). 8,9/10

gigadelic -extended- (jimbo): this time your GFX is not made with paint, so i can fully appreciate the steps. very good. some minor faults do not compromise the quality of this sim. but i hate this music (yech). jacks are fun. 8,2/10

happy hardogs (macgravel): i hate both music and gfx but i will velue only steps. they are quite index biased, and also good synced. nothing else to say, great steps. 8,4/10

happy rainbow (gamepro): hated the music but loved the steps. jumps were well made in heavy steps, while oni is like toph's one more lovely with less jumps in. however, good patterns use. heavy & oni 8,5/10

hardware store (the rai rai): this is a masterpiece. i still can't understand why someone put into this a pedofilistic gfx like this. bah. jacks were REALLY funny and appropriate, syncing is excellent and patterns are simply amazing. it is just... orgasmatic. heavy 9,3/10 oni 10/10

identity (zaghurim): I liked song, gfx and steps. the point is that this is a marathon, and not all players like marathons. the rithym is too regular, so you had to sim this in a original way to keep the player's attention up during the whole song. i am not sure you have done this correctly, but you were limited by the rithym. 7,3/10

istanbul cafè (the rai rai): i can say that you are totalty wicked. you have putted into a lot of added arrows to increase difficulty, and also, like you often do, patterns were made with the aim of confusing the player. however, pretty good and hard sim. 6,9/10

japanese mathafacka (bursurk lurk): this was stepped in a original and personal way, different from each other. that's the reason why people will love or hate this without medium measures. i loved it. oh yes, and best BG ever. 10/10

jurs op (bursurk lurk): technical superior. GFX doesn't match this at all. 9,8/10

last message (snapps + digital cyber): in the initial part it rithym really called for bpm stops. you ignored this and also some sounds. but finally this is the best version ever for this song. liked the patterns. 9,0/10

loaded future file (zaghurim): this is made REALLY well, perfectly matching sounds. both oni and heavy were technical superior. yeah. heavy 9,2/10 oni 9,8/10

love fighter (zanthro): this. is. .... no words to say how this is well made. oni matches PERFECTLY each sound. heavy is fun and accurate too. i have to complain only on one sound simmed in a strange way, but the rest is the closest to perfection thing i've ever seen. you are for sure the revelation of this pack. heavy 9,5/10 oni 11/10

love magic (snapps + danceguy117): excellent patterns use. excellent sync. notes were prefectly folloewd in each point of the song. 8,8/10

mad moon sonata (zanthro): this is certainly very good and technical proficous. patterns were very accurate and also triples were right in the best place. yes, bpm changes were also perfectly done. 9,7/10

moon child (boomba): this is fun as hell. hands are pretty gay also. maybe some jumps were in the wrong place and others weren't in the place they supposed to stay. but minor faults. holds are vry good putted into. 8,7/10

none would escape (the rai rai): patterns were surely fun, but some sounds were forgotten and some others covered by streams. excluding this, i can say that this is one of my favourite kbc3 simfile. 8,4/10

playing inside (gamepro): VERY stupid music. this supposed to be index friendly until the very inappropriate long hold between the main stream. and also some steps sounds strange compared with the sounds. 5,7/10

policy in the sky (exige): this deserves surely an high rate cause here i have finally founded your attitude to use non-conventional patterns to sim sounds. you missed some sounds however, and oni is a bit retarded, but still a good challenge (at least for me). some of the triples were really non-existant however. heavy 7,5/10 oni 4,6/10

red zone (boomba): very well done, even some sounds seem to be trascurated. 8,2/10

s!o!c!o!p.....ok we have understood (dethev): this song is incredibly supid, what is it doing in this pack?? well seriously talking it has some good parts but also some errors. syncing jumps on castrated voices is funny. 6,9/10

summer vacation (boomba): i preferred toph's at all. i must admit it is good too, but not good enough. 7,1/10

the least 333 seconds (bursurk lurk): masterpiece. 11/10

tristam rock (zaghurim): very technical. very beautiful. this is art. it is easy but no matters if it is SO good 11/10

under control (danceguy117): some parts were not followed perfectly, but this is very well made. jumps, 16ths and jacks in right places. 8,6/10

vijore (boomba): some sounds loudly called for 32nds but finally this is excellently done. 9,0/10

vordhosbn (exige): perfecly match every sound. original and personal interpretation. heavy & oni 9,5/10

we met dat night (vospi): i have noticed your potential from the first time i have seen your sims, in keys of flames contest. excellent music and excellent simfile, original patterns, high level of sounds simulation. bg change is yeah. one of the best sims of the pack. 10/10

what do you really want (the rai rai): you are, again, totally wicked. confusing steps made for getting you mad while playing. little holds errors and nothing else. yes, this rocks. 9,3/10

why did you go away (rebirth): i don't like the way you followed sounds and beats. that can be done better. some fast sounds ignored too. it is finally enjoyable. 7,0/10

you are... (zaghurim + rebirth): heavy - perfect / oni - masterpiece. heavy 9,5/10 oni 10/10

Z (digital cyber): you didn't use canonic patterns, and the result is very very good. now people can stop stepping it. ya rly. 9/10

zenius -i- vanisher (ninshikou): the best zenius ever made. really amazing steps. i loved it. 9,6/10

i can say that this is the best pack i've ever played, everything was perfectly done. i am quite sure that the best creations in here are:

extork - indezera : for sure it has errors, but was originally done and this is the reason why i appreciated it.

hardware store - the rai rai : amazing in both stepcharts and in every arrow

loaded future file - zaghurim : yeah

love fighter - zanthro : thor, god of thunder couldn't do it better

the least 333 seconds - bursurk lurk : one of the very few not-boring marathons, excellent technical

tristam rock - zagurim : this is art

we met dat night - vospi : create and sim a song is pretty awesome, and this is also a legendary sim

you are - zagurim & rebirth : the perfection is here

finally, i can say that i'm very happy seeing HOW the level of sim creation is grown. hope i can soon publish my works to let you see how can I do.

The beginning 8th's in FFP follow the background drums.
Also Extork and Beautiful Synergy are complete loads of ****. Ernst, while technically not being a total load of garbage, is a 2 minute jumpstream. It's about as interesting as Quasar IMO.

I agree with some of your review, but meh...

Seriously that song is like a lullaby, which would probably be the absolute worst thing to step.

Yeah, the BG's are meant to fit the person the song was done for, rather than the song itself. (OPs are basicly like...uhhm...Theme songs ^^)
