Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
Actually you simply completely failed to take two things into account.
A: percussion
B: songs that aren't stupidly repeditive
I understand percussion, however, if you're going to deal with a kick drum (say blast beats on an organic metal song) then really you should only alternate between 2 arrows, as there are two pedals hitting one kick drum (or one pedal hitting one of two kick drums). If one is to use patterns of arrows to follow melodies, why would you not use patterns to follow a simple bass drum beat? However, in most electronic songs, they use the exact same bass sample for the heavier beats (meaning, if you chose UP to represent the bass kick, some songs would have you making 16th jacks of the UP arrow). This means that, say, in a DukAmok file, when he makes streams following the rhythm of the drums (straight 16ths), he is diversifying, or being "non-technical" -- using the fun factor. Therefore, for one to be completely technical, he would have to find a song that used rudimentary (meaning, a drum piece sounds different when hit on a different area, implying that two sticks are being used) drum-playing across more than just two or three parts of the kit, or find something that has little to no pattern. Do you see what I'm saying? You HAVE to use a bit of fun, a bit of creativity against what the aural pattern is; there has yet to be an entirely technical simfile.
very few people care about the technical aspect. if it's fun, then i play it. i couldn't give two ****s about whether it's technical or not, or else i'd play IIDX.
You have a point to some extent, but your suggestion that being completely technical involves thinking about the pedals on a double-bass setup rather than the actual sound of the bass, etc., is ridiculously mislead.
Also that being completely technical doesn't automatically mean setting an arrow for a sound. That doesn't work, as there are only four arrows.
When I speak of technical files, I speak of complete rhythmic precision.
PS:I hope you make a good decision on that one D your still deciding on ,alot of ppl liked it so idk, I need to resend Zenius I fixed some parts of it you prolly didnt notice were off.hopefully I will have 4 files in the pack after I submit my last one in a few days.
Translation: plz let my Double Trouble file into the pack. =)
I don't support anything. lol Sorry Snapps.
I have a simfile started for every one of those letters with the exceptions of Q and U. Chances of me finishing any of them are about 0 Unless I get really bored tomorrow.
ps: When/if I make a simfile, you'll have my support.
Its not the same one you and Zag played, its fixed and synced, lol then I made another version for snapps where i restepped the beggining.
I've played that one. It's better, but not great.
Zenius also had some errors :/
I liked the boring one with nonsense rap and weird acoustic guitar though, rofl
rofl I TOLD YOU! I support dis **** yo. (I'll make a fyle today or something) I need to figure out one to make. Anything I've started already are going to be boring/edits of already made files anyway. I have some done for the letters you've stated, but they're pretty bad. lawl I haven't made a new file in months ;_;
If I make one for you, I'll have to make one for macgravel cuz I promised him too. and we tite like dat.
Weren't there some kind of rules about which songs I could make? I can't remember.
