How to make a DWI file for newbies.

I named this topic as such because I am hoping that there can be a set place for people to find out how to make a DWI file.

So if you are out there legendary gods of StepMaking(tm), answer our call and help the unknowledgeable.

If I figure out how to make them, they will come. Lots of them.
    Signatures are ignorant.

I have to go back to work in a minute, but when I get some time I'll do some typing.

Its not entirely difficult. The hardest thing i say is actually keeping the DWI file in beat for the whole song.

And, the gap time is pretty hard to set.

      Im ok for now !

cmc, have you ever checked the "FAQ's" section. Nestlekwik created a huge guide on how to make dwi files. It's the main reason he became an admin.

          Or is it?

Have you tried using the notepad or a simulator process?

btw nestle. i never did find a way to test my dwi thingy.

If you're making a .dwi file for a classical, you don't have to get permission from anyone to use it right? after all, the composers are dead.

Actually, it's because he has better timing than Synth. :/

And classical music is public domain because it's so old (unlike Mick Mouse ), so go nutz.

You might just have to send me the file over AIM so I can see what's going on.

And, no, things weren't exactly copyrighted back during those times and the composers are long past dead.
