No matter how faggy indexers may be, neither me nor Exige hates them.
We just don't care if they'll have trouble doing certain stuff. For me it's mostly the jumps that fuck them over, and for Exige it's the patterns (that he is fixing now, I believe).Comment

I'm hopping on the IDM trendtrain now:
Venetian Snares - Szamar Madar
And I'm glad I did. I'm not going to shit out IDM sims though, next sim is going to be very different.
EDIT: I said trendtrain, but I'm not going "ubertechnical" on it. It was made to be fun to play, not OMFG DIS B HRAD YO I CANT FC LOL. There are some 48th's/64th's and shit in the song, but I didn't include them (they're 24th/32nd notes instead, to balance difficulty). More comparable to Epidermis than it is to the other IDM files that everyone's throwing around right now.Comment

on another note, your sim was great fun...a bit repetitious but the song was that way. is this off his new release? i kinda vowed to stop downloading his shit because he drops a new album every three months, and his beat programming is the same spaz shit...every now and then he puts effort into his shit, and it's great...perhaps this album is one of those.Comment

i like to pretend i know more about IDM than post people, but since so many new shitty artists pop up, and i've been out of the scene, i really don't.
however, i did used to have like every aphex, plaid, boards of canada, vs, squarepusher release for awhile. but aphex after drukqs/two remixes sucks to me, squarepushers latest was just ok (though i want to step the title track "do you know squarepusher?") and like i said about vs.
