It's not that hard...? Aguu. T_T I failed 4 times....

I haven't broken 290 on it yet. I don't have enough stamina. The doubledoubletripletsdoubledoubletriples RAPE stamina and the trills too.
And Snapps, why would I make another Fury of the Storm? Nobody would play that since DTM's is so popular.
EDIT: I was going to make an Anaal Nathrakh sim but it turned out too retarded. As in I failed like a minute or so into the sim = too hard to be fun.

Lol, you're a weirdo. Go whore Reality. XD
onoken - Felys (cut)

I finally decided to release this after making it index friendly (I left the midstream jumps, they're not that many and I figured that if I can take them with index everyone can, because I'm a godawful indexer).
EDIT:
Uh, this is v2 for those that didn't get it. So for the few that actually HAD it already, plz redownload kthxbai.

Actually, I agree. But people seem to like them for some reason anyway. And I'm working on becoming better for that matter (like seriously, there are some amateurish issues with close to all of my files, that I am just tired of having in them and that seriously needs to be fixed, you probably know what I'm talking about since you're not exactly an amateur when it comes to simfile design).
But w/e, not all people become awesome after making 5 files.

See, I think a big issue with your files is what you've already stated, you just make them too quickly. When you get tired if making a file in the middle of it, you need to take a break until you really want to work on it again. Sometimes it's a couple hours, sometimes it's a couple months. Personally, I think making two really great simfiles is much more impressive than making 50 completely average ones. Much better for SM, too. I have enough mediocre simfiles, thank you.
I like a lot of yours, though. Most die out a little at the end, but are still good. I don't mind that they're all Sharpnel songs, however, as long as they're good. Only other criticism I will make is that you should be a little tighter with the song selection. Moonearth is an awesome, awesome song.. but it just doesn't work out too well for stepping. Look for things that are less repetitive and streamy and stuff. Look for something with tricky patterns you know you're going to have a good time making.Comment

I have made about 50 sims (tons of them are old POS files that suck total ass and will never be released, ever) and like 5 of those are Sharpnel songs. I think saying I step "all Sharpnel" is a pretty hefty exaggeration (if you actually meant it that way, it can be interpreted in a different meaning too I guess).
Also, Felys was released due to request, it wasn't something I had originally planned on releasing - mainly due to the fact that several bigger guys have already made it.
'Kay, [/defend], thanks a ton for comments/criticism. Constructive criticism is more than welcome.
Oh and btw I don't recall there being any streams in Moonearth (the song). FYI, I pulled the stream in that sim right out of my rear end, lol. Otherwise the same pattern would have repeated for 8 more measures which would not have been acceptable.

Oops. I meant to say it's okay if you step all Sharpnel songs as long as they're good, not that all of your files are Sharpnel songs. Heh.
The stream comment wasn't in regard to Moonearth specifically. I probably should've spaced that out. A lot of your files consist of mostly stream, though. Oh, and 8th stuff with jumps counts as stream, too.
Look for something that will make an interesting simfile. I guess not all the time, since the vast majority of people is absolutely content with stream sims crapped out at a rate of 50 sims per week, but at least once in awhile. A good example is ap's Manchurian Candy. It's fun because it's different. And don't be afraid to dig into the VSnares albums 8)
One point I'd like to stress. I've said this to plenty of other people, too. Like you said, 8 measures of the same pattern is unacceptable. However, this does not make it okay to make up your own pattern for it. Halloween is a bad simfile. Do not use it as an example for anything except what not to do.
Enough Halloween bashing for one day, I suppose. Anyway, the stream in Moonearth is a slight exception to what I just said because the triplets get so faded you can almost make them out to be streams. I still don't think the file is too good, but the stream didn't bug me as much as it could've.
Have you tossed Anaal Nathrakh? If not, I'd like to see it. As long as it's not a bad simfile, really hard difficulty can be okay.Comment

To make a long story short I pretty agree with everything you said.
And Pandemonic Hyperblast (the Nathrakh-sim) was totally retarded. It was not only way too hard for anyone to take it seriously, the quality of the simfile was also more or less bleh. I tossed it, basically.
I also came to the conclusion that black/death metal cannot be DWI'd unless you strictly follow the drums or nerf the guitars to hell. 250BPM 32nd runs with midstream jumps are not fun to take in any way.
