Ok, as far as stepfile creation goes, I would like to know if there is a way to add triple-beats in without modifying the tempo. What do I mean when I say "triple-beat"? I mean a musical triplet (3 notes in the place where four should be, each holding an equal value). Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Ok, so after installing Step Mania and getting the initial file set up I was having a slight difficulty getting the program to acknowledge the existence of my song. However, I realized that it needed a *.dwi file instead of a *.sm file to operate. The only problem is that now I'm getting the following error when the program tries to load up:

*.DWI file:
If you want the crash report I can get you that, I would just like to get this up and running. Thanks.

Ok, now this will hopefully be the last question I ask. Let's say you have this awesome song you're making a simfile for, but you don't know what the tempo (bpm) is. How would you go about figuring that out with or without additional programming (if an additional program is needed, where can I get it)? Thanks in advance.
