A (This is not a request for the stepfile)

I was playing today, and I noticed on A (the one in the simfile database here) that there is a difficulty above challenging. Just press down down, and it brings you to another difficulty harder than challenging. I don't know if anyone's found this before, but I just noticed today.

I'm sure many people have, I've discovered it about a year ago.

Download a better version of Stepmania. Sounds like you're using 3.0 final, which doesn't tell you what difficulties of steps a song has. I use 3.9 a21 myself.

a23 blows, you have to hit enter twice to get out of options so that YOU DON'T ACCIDENTALLY HIT ENTER BEFORE THE OTHER PERSON WHO ISN'T THERE IS READY, OH SNAP

those steps are called "edit" steps. if you go to the edit/create songs menu, you can see that you can create edit steps... they show up on later alphas of 3.9 with a BOX flashing on the left hand side.. same location as where the L/M for long/marathon songs is displayed and where the sun-thingy for beginner songs is located.

Oh, OK, I see now. Wow, I feel dumb. Thanks, Tass.
