Song Sampling how do u do it?

Is there a way using Xstep to just take a part of a song from a CD u have, or is there actually a program that will allow u to cut full songs into parts that u just want if so please tell.

Use CDEx to rip from CD to mp3, use goldwave to chop mp3s.

Xstep? That's used for making dwi's.. :/

Also, you can use Audacity instead of Goldwave if all you're gonna do is chop mp3's.
