i'll take up your offer on this because i haven't touched rhythm game stuff in like 5 years but i do want to spend some free time into making a piano/jazzy song before i'm dead for good
i have some questions though
1) do the songs have to be pure piano, or can it be also have other instruments like drums or some bass
2) do you think syncing a live show would be a lot harder? i want to step a live show (there is of course, a studio recording available as well) but when i listen to stuff like jazz i love hearing live performances
it's gonna be hiromi for me cause that much is obvious lol. i went to see her at sf jazz a few months back!

it's gonna have to be humpty dumpty (studio ver), hiromi & chick corea duet for me
it's also probably gonna take you a long time to sync (i can't imagine how wack syncing a duet would be) but if it's you, i believe

Sent a hopefully decent mania
I think Japanese should be taught because if animes have taught me anything it is that Japanese is superior. *strokes neckbeard and contemplates next cheeto*

It can have other instruments the piano just has to have most of the lead time. Syncing live and studio recording are kind of the same. Studio recordings might be easier but not by much
